Sturdy, functional, just what we needed for our little home science experiment. I feel lucky that all the pieces got to us though since it was not packed securely. The rod had poked a hole in the corner of the box and only the nut kept it from escaping completely.

Needed a cheap lab stand and was able to find this guy for around $20. Obviously it's a bit cheaply made but I didn't need anything fancy and for the price its actually pretty decent. Stand rod attaches to base plate with a washer and nut and attachments are held in place with tension screws. I highly recommend this stand if your really just looking for a cheap but useful lab stand. ... show more

While the stand itself is pretty sturdy it's not worth the money considering I never received the 2 rings and clamp in the description and pictures. I'll happily change my review if the company sends them to me. *UPDATE So the company got back to me right away, apologized for their mistake, and is now in the process of sending me the missing parts. Overall it's a decent stand and I'd buy it again. It could be difficult to use with larger, heavier, setups but I'm sure it can be adjusted to work well. This is perfect for small labs. ... show more
