As the title suggests, the keys are not as quiet as my laptop, but still not the loud "clickity-clak" that most keyboards at this price are. It's plug-n-play, so all you need to do is put in the USB receiver into your computer and after a few seconds, you are good to go. I really like the phone slot at the top left of the keyboard, it just makes your desk a little less-messy when trying to find a spot for your phone, but unfortunately it isn't bluetooth compatible (which is fine, since it wasn't advertised that way), but with the phone slot I was still hoping. :/ The mouse is comfortable, nothing amazing by any means, but I like it just fine for daily use. All-in-all you can't beat the price when getting a wireless keyboard/mouse combo! ... show more

    • Excellent wireless keyboard and mouse
This wireless keyboard/mouse combination is excellent. The wireless connectivity has always been highly responsive. When the keyboard or mouse goes to sleep, the first keypress or mouse gesture wakes the unit up, with nothing lost. The wake up is super fast and responsive and accurate. I have never used the slot on the keyboard as phone holder but I do use it hold a pen. I like the separate screen lock key because it eliminates the need for the 2 key Win + L to accomplish the same thing. This keyboard comes with preprogrammed function keys which default to the manufacturers settings (audio volume increase/decrease/mute etc.) To use the functions keys for normal windows operations, simply hold the fn key and press any function key to accomplish this. IMPORTANT: I have NOT had any of the problems posted in the review section! I go through keyboards and mouses like tissues. On average, they last a few months and then deteriorate. Often times, because I have a tendency to drop the mouse a lot, they break pretty fast. The mouse included with this keyboard has held up well. As with most other mouses, when they are dropped, the batteries come flying out. To avoid this, I have placed a small piece of tape over the battery cover and case being careful not to cover the mouse's optical component. This is a great, full sized keyboard and mouse. Easy connect via Bluetooth. Literally, just insert the USB receiver, turn on the keyboard and mouse and its ready. (The keyboard requires AAA batteries and the mouse one AA.) The mouse doesn't turn off quickly like other brands with inactivity, which I like. The phone holder, well yeah, without a case I'm sure most phones will fit. But for those with phone cases, its not gonna fit. I use it as a pen holder and really like it for that use. The keyboard cover is basic, but fits well enough. I use it, and it is helpful for dust and crumbs. The keys are not the quietest, but nowhere near as loud as a traditional keyboard. It is a bummer there are no adjustments for the angle of the keyboard, but there is a slight tilt and this feels comfortable to me. The mouse is a bit smaller than a typical mouse, but feels ergonomic, with a comfortable hand/wrist position. Scroll bar is quite fluid. Overall, I'm satisfied with this combo product. For comfort, ease of use, and versatility. If I were being nit picky, having some legs on the keyboard would be nice and a bit larger hole for the phone slot. ... show more

I bought this set to replace a prehistoric Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse combo I picked up on FB Marketplace for $5 to use on my old PC build that is now in my living room, hooked to the TV. That combo is so old the mouse wasn't even optical, it still had the ball in it. Needless to say, it had horrible range. You had to be about 2 feet from the TV to use the mouse and keyboard. This combo here has no problem with range, and I just noticed last night that the mouse has a DPI button on it! It IS mentioned in the description, but I didn't notice. It's a godsend, because the default DPI setting combined with the giant 50-inch TV the PC is hooked to made for some tedious mouse use. Now you can zip the cursor all over the screen with ease. My wife didn't really care at first, and didn't see the big deal since the old combo technically worked, but the first time she used it, she fell in love with it. She really liked that it came with a thin rubber cover over the keys to keep dirt and liquid out of the keyboard (darn kids and pets), and has been meticulous about keeping it clean. As far as durability goes, the keyboard recently survived getting picked up and smacked on the coffee table hard enough to pop some keys out of it (no, it wasn't me), and besides the battery cover no longer fitting in place properly, shows no signs of having been put through that. Everything still works. So...kid proof, I guess? Battery longevity seems really good so far. This combo is still on the first set, which isn't surprising considering the short time I've had it, but compared to the old combo, which ate a set of batteries in about a week and a half, it's significantly better. Both the mouse and keyboard are pretty quiet, too. I wouldn't say silent, but barely audible in a fairly quiet room, especially with the rubber cover on the keyboard. Overall, I'm very happy with it. UPDATE: The keyboard is now dead. I thought maybe the batteries, but new ones didn't fix it. I DO NOT blame the keyboard, it was an angry person in my house hitting it on the coffee table that likely caused it's demise, it just took it a while. I plan on buying another as soon as I can afford. UPDATE2: Bought another one. Works just fine. And I swear, for some reason, the build quality of this second combo seems better than the first. ... show more
