I purchased a Beats Powerbeats Pro to use as my go-to headphones for running, cycling and while traveling. However, despite purposed care with this headset, they stopped working within six months. Nearly a year passed without finding a solution. I tried every method possible to try and get my headset working (e.g., cleaning the connections on the case and earphones, new charging cables, charging with the case open, etc.). Nothing worked. I pressed Apple and they agreed to send me a refurbished replacement case -- but at the cost of $99. Even then, they couldn't guarantee that this would "fix" the problem. In fact, many other people who tried this explained that a new case was the same as the old case. Some would work for a short time before experiencing charging issues. Needless to say, I was disappointed because this seems to be a known issue with the Powerbeats Pro (which is why they are redesigning them). I essentially gave up and was close to tossing them at a recycle center. I found this product by happenchance. Someone on a social media page presented a simple yet novel solution that worked for him: He simply purchased a third party charger. I found this wireless charging case replacement on Amazon and quickly ordered it. It comes at a fraction of the cost of a refurbished replacement case from Apple/Beats. My expectations were low; however, I immediately began charging the Powerbeats Pro when the case arrived. After just 20 minutes of charging, the moment of truth arrived. Guess what? They worked! I was thrilled that a $250 headset was "fixed" by a third party replacement case. My Powerbeats Pro headset is working like new now! The case is essentially a very close replica of an official Beats Powerbeats Pro case. It is not quite as heavy as the original case and the door isn't as tight as the official case. However, it still works well and is durable enough to last through repeat daily use. Overall, I am ecstatic that this case works as well as it does! It brought new life to an expensive headset that I was ready to replace. The headset charges very well and I haven't had a single problem since receiving it. Thank you!

This case is very close to a genuine Powerbeat one but is inferior all around. The weight of the case if very light which suggests that the build quality is thinner and that the battery is smaller. The hinge feels loose and not very rigid. The magnets on the lid and for the headphones are weaker than OEM as well. The charging contacts are very finicky, and I oftentimes have to reposition the headphones so that they make contact. Even after these adjustments, closing the lid oftentimes breaks the contact. The charging port does not seat a cable firmly. The case does sync and appears as a Powerbeats case with all associated features. Aside from this, the case is very lackluster overall. It does charge Powerbeats if I fiddle with it enough, but I am only going to use this in a pinch. It is not very reliable.
