This was my 2nd attempt at an after market wireless charging case for my airpods 2nd generation. The first case the airpods were slightly loose which means each time you took them out you'd have to hold them down in the case for about 5 seconds before taking them out, otherwise they wouldn't connect to my phone. With this new case that is not a problem; nice tight fit, connects right out of the case. I love the black finish, which has a silicone feel to it, and the battery life of the actual case seems to be really good. I watched a movie with my airpods in until they were less than 20%, charged to full and used less than 10% of the case battery. Connecting the new case is easy, just make sure to forget your airpods in bluetooth before attempting. Drop the airpods in the new case, close the lid and count to 10. Open the lid and press the connect button on the front. Don't let go until your phone says paired. For what apple charges for the same case in white only, this is a great price.

I only use these airpods at work, so there is no travel wear-and-tear for the wireless charging case. I would not buy this case again. The wireless charging side has began to split causing issues with the wireless charging feature and the whole reason I bought two of these cases. This is disappointing and unfortunate and I don't see how to contact the sellers to see if I can get a partial refund or a replacement because I have only had this case for less than 6 months of use. Edited - this company got right back to me and replaced within a week. First item must have been defective but second item is working great so far.

I have an older model air buds which couldn’t be charged wirelessly. I thought I was going to need to get new earbuds until I came across this case. I now can charge my old earbuds in the new case wirelessly. My only concern is the case does get fairly hot when charging.
