These lights are very high quality and worth the money. The LED lights are bright and the 200 Lumens are focused directly; which makes it very visible and better than standard cab lights that tend to just glow but do not project light efficiently. This is a key distinction because it means you can see Cab Over America lights from a further distance as it cuts through darkness, fog, snow, rain, dust and even smokey air. To state the obvious, the other great benefit is that you don't need to drill holes in your roof (which in most cases leak and/or rust over time). And you do not need to spend the money to pay for installation. It's an easy install to do yourself. The hardest part is deciding where you want to place them, measuring and lining it up straight. Take your time, don't be in a hurry. One tip: if the roof of your cab is curved in the spot you want to place the lights, you'll need to put a small arc on the mounting plate so the whole surface adheres to the roof of the truck. I used a circular file to increase the diameter of the screw holes on the light cover to accommodate the arc. Everything will synch down water tight. The solar powered battery works great too, batter life is very long and holds the charge for a very long time (weeks) even if you park your truck in a dark garage and don't take it outside every day. I listed the pros, here's a couple of con's. There are three modes for the lights: low, high & strobe. You need to cycle through each mode every time to get the mode you want. Essentially, this means you need to turn the lights on and off 1 to 2 times to get the mode you want. Also, the lights can go out of sync easily, which means some lights are on one mode and the other lights are on another mode. To avoid this, you need to be careful when turning them on. You need to hold down the on-button for a second or two in order to make sure all lights turn on. You can't just tap the on-off button. That said, it's pretty easy to re-sync the lights, it can just be a bit annoying to do. Pictured are the lights during the day and in darker settings. I also show two photos for what they look like when the light is not on. I went with the smoked lens' because I have a dark colored truck and wanted a stealthier look versus a clear or amber lens. I still give this product 5-stars because it is one of the only remote controlled lights on the market and it accomplishes so much. Bright light, LED, solar powered so you don't have to deal with changing a battery, easy to install plus saving cost of installation, no holes to drill and great customer service. Don't over think it, these lights are great, spend the money and buy them.

Got these, charged them.. Easy install.. Looked good for a very short time.. Didn’t hold a charge.. They replaced them.. I let them charge 72hrs. Put them on, worked good for a day or so.. 4 will stay on for about 20 mins.. The 5th won’t even light up.. Was told these have 1% that they have malfunctions.. So, 99% work as stated. Like many other reviews, those are made up percents.. Go do it right and drill holes.. Good chance you’ll toss $400 down the drain.. Lowes solar garden lights hold a charge better…. SMH Good luck.. Great idea but not efficient enough for $400

I’ve had these for a little over two years. Two of them have failed and been replaced under warranty which is great. They just simply don’t stay charged. I live in Florida where it’s sunny all the time and they should be getting enough sunlight. So I go to turn them off and one or two of them will stay on and die. I’ll have to wait a few days until all 5 turn back on. Its annoying. When they do work they look great. They are pretty bright. I’d give it 3.5/5. Maybe just a 3 since I paid almost $400 for these and I wish I would have had powered ones installed.

I am a Big Amazon shopper & Glad I purchased these lights (2018 F350 with sunroof) High Quality product with great packaging + you get everything to install properly (had a 2017 F250 with clearance lights & leaked from day 1, went back to Ford service 5x to fix) Cons: 3 modes on remote in which u have to sift thru them every time turn on and off, had to cut a notch in back of lens so they would sit properly (roof curved so bolts on bracket would spread apart), cap nuts sit a little to high on the back of lens. It would be awesome if they came up with some way (plug and play) that when your headlights come on so did your clearance lights... Pros; quality hardware all around, can buy hardware pieces on website, easy install, can remove them, No Holes to Drill! In summary; truck looks tough with that big rig look (already had a couple of compliments) i believe pros out way the cons in my opinion, NOTE::: If you feel they are to expensive you probably shop at Walmart for your truck accessories!

These are awsome, recommend to get someone to help you its too tricky to do it by yourself, with a sun roof it might be different, the acorn nuts are ok, 2 of them broke on install. But i got some new ones and they look fine. Light up great. One thing im a little Worried about is the rubber wont seal all the way to the roof,there is a small gap. I hope they flex to it over time. Probably will take out the light when washing my truck.

Awesome addition to my truck. Lights are bright and have 3 modes. Low mode which is my favorite, bright mode and flashing mode. Flash mode could be handy for someone who plows or does roadwork but haven’t used it. Installation was a breeze and took under an hour. One issue is lights becoming out of sync. I found to turn all the lights on, one mode example flashing, remove the ones that are not flashing one at a time and take a good distance away while leaving all lights on and use the remote to change the mode on the one you took with you to flashing and just repeat. To stay in sync make sure you hold the on button until ALL the lights come on. If they don’t all come on and you hit the off button they’ll become out of sync. One way I’ve avoided this is to keep my remote in a key fob holder to keep from accidentally hitting the button. So far it’s been working good. My one gripe would be you have to cycle all modes to get to the one you want. But I heard there should be a fix for this coming sometime in 2020. Overall I definitely recommend these if your looking to add a new look or lights to your truck.
