This slide is definitely long and made of a nice durable material very well made and comes with stakes to keep it in place. It definitely isn't 5.5' wide though but there was still enough room for my kids to slide side by side. Overall a great slide for the price. We added a little soap to help them make it to the end since it is so long and they love it!

This product was very simple to set up, and easy to use! We had a party at my parents house, and the kids used it literally all day and night! Just make sure to prepare mentally for it to disrupt the yard from the impact of sliding. As long as the kids are having fun is what truly matters! I would recommend this to anyone who has kids and the yard to set it up! Especially if they do not mind it getting a little muddy!

When coaching little league baseball and girls fast pitch, I used a slip and slide to teach 8-12 year olds how to slide feet first and head first. The players had so much fun while learning that skill. So...present day! I have a grandson that is having a birthday and he and his sister just started playing baseball. IMO, this is the perfect gift; especially with summer coming on. I also like that it includes the two inflatable cushions which helps with the younger kids hesitation with going head first. One item I don't like, why they didn't use a 90 degree angle for the hose is beyond me. But from past purchases and this looks no different, I often skipped attaching the hose and just put a lawn sprinkler next to it; better water coverage. Those little pin holes rarely do a great job (as noted in other reviews) for the length of the slide. Once the weather warms up, we'll put it to good use. It's all fun!

Kiddos love this thing but I can see it’s way too pricey for the design. Where the hose connects to the top end of the slide it causes the material to stick up and potentially get damaged or have kids trip. It also leaks due tot he cheaply made hose connection plastic. The inflatable boards that come with it look really nice but they pop quite easily. So so productive and would be a good deal if only $35 or so.
