  • Could be better
Size: 1 Pack
I love the look and size of this capo. It is small enough that it practically disappears on the neck. It is well made and does not mar the finish at all. My only negative experience is that the tightening nut does seem to get in the way at times. No matter how I place it, I seem to bump into it which impacts playability ... show more

  • Actually D'Addario, very good capo I've bought 3 times now
Size: 1 Pack
I don't know why the brand is Winsor & Newton, and I've reported it to Amazon but they haven't done anything about it. It actually caused me to buy a guitar capo on accident because I was worried that this wouldn't actually be the right capo. I have lost my two previous capos of this same exact model, but I keep on buying these because they are so good. I'm a busker and play 8-9 hours a week, and this thing is so small it is really easy to just keep inside my ukulele case, stick on my mic stand while I'm not using it, and when I am using it I can pull of the vast majority of chords without any issue. Heavily recommend as someone who has been using this capo for nearly 8 years. ... show more

  • Great value. I just bought another.
Size: 1 Pack
Easily as good or better than any capo I have ever owned. Precise and easy to use. Quality build.

  • Gives me more finger space on a concert ukulele!
Size: 1 Pack
I don't know why this "Planet Waves" capo comes stamped with the "D'Addario" label. Are they one and the same? Regardless, this "micro-capo" is solving the problem I have with other ukulele capos, having trouble with the non-barre Dm and G7 chords... my fingers have a difficult time squeezing in next to a larger capo. This capo takes an extra 3 seconds to install. I can live with that! My main concern is the price. If you own a low-end uke, is it worth it to buy a high-end capo? After using it, my answer is... yes. If you play with a capo, and the capo gives you any problems with accurate fitting or finger space, this capo will probably solve the problem. Whether you play a $40 Miro or a $400 Kala, if you enjoy your ukulele more using this capo, it is worth it. ... show more

  • Great little uke capo!
Size: 1 Pack
The best thing about this capo, besides being small and easy to pack with my instrument, is that it doesn't put undo stress on my strings! Most of the clip-on type stress the strings, putting them out of tune or leading them to break before their time. But this capo is gentle on the instrument!

  • Elegance and Stability in One Small Capo
Size: 1 Pack
I bought this lovely little capo to use with my Gold Tone tenor banjo ukulele. While it takes a second or two to install this capo, as opposed to the clip on types, I find it worth the security to spend the time to tighten the screw. I seem to need less retuning than with the clip on capo I have. The profile is pleasantly low so the capo doesn't interfere with playing. The capo fits snugly with no noticeable unwanted string movement and it stays put until it is removed. I like the engineering that the snug nut brings to this capo and it doesn't mar the finish on my banjo ukulele neck. While it is a second or two less convenient than a clip on, I find it stores unobtrusively on the head of my instrument and it still fits well without contacting the hard case so it is always there when I want it but I don't notice it unless I want to (see photo). For me, this makes this little black capo with elegant lines perfect for my needs. I like the extra security afforded by the screw clamp over most clip on models, but this is maybe more a personal preference than a true advantage although to me personal preference can be an advantage at times. I give this smart little capo five stars. ... show more

  • Perfect fit on my Oscar Schmidt OU5's first fret.
Size: 1 Pack
I had purchased a G7th Newport, but it kept on slipping off of the first fret of my Oscar Schmidt OU5 ukulele. So I purchased this capo and a Shubb Lite capo, and I'm staying with this one. I'm not really a quick-capo change player, so the screw on approach doesn't concern me and I like that I can control the tension very accurately for the wide changes in thickness along the ukulele neck. The Shubb was a beautiful capo that worked just fine but was a bit hard to play over when I was playing chords near the capo, and as I mentioned before the G7th Newport didn't closely tightly on the first fret. ... show more
