This feels good and solid. It's smaller diameter than the old one I've had forever, from a mainstream tack supplier. The lead rope needed to be squeezed to get it in & out of the ring. Once looped over the tongue, it had no give at all, with my full weight: not a budge or a slip - so basically, they'd be hard tied. Might work more easily with reins, I expect.
