Great Wine Suit Case (and non wine suitcase too)

Ended up buying this while on trip to southern Oregon wine country (had it delivered to the hotel). Safely and securely holds 12 wine bottles and is sturdy, well made. Price was reasonable. Great features - built in lock and multiple handles making lifting and stowing in car trunk very easy. Love that you can remove foam inserts to carry fewer bottles or use a “regular travel” suitcase when all are removed (2 bags in 1!). My first time luggage purchase with “spinner” wheels. WOW! It’s SO much easier to maneuver this hard sided bag than my tried and true 2-wheeler pull-behind soft sider bag that has travelled all over the world with me. Can’t go wrong with this bag if you need a wine suitcase or a regular travel suitcase. It’s a decent size and easy to manage.

Safe way to transport wine

Ordered this for a trip to Italy where I knew I’d be filling it with wine. Ample room for 12 bottles and even put some clothes in there! I did buy some straps to make sure it stayed closed but it didn’t appear to have any issues with the airport luggage gorillas.

Best wine suitcase I have owned so far

I have now used the suitcase for two trips, with 4 legs, fully loaded and the suitcase has performed as advertised. Love the compact size and the padding. If there's anything I'd like the foam to be a tad more flexible on the top so that slightly larger bottles than standard size would fit easier. Wine makers choose bottles without knowing the problems they cause :D Riesling bottles are definitely too tall.

We were moving from Chicago to So Cal and I needed to transport some of my most prized bottles safely. I took a chance on this suitcase and was pleasantly surprised. It was so easy….checked the bag…picked it up at baggage claim and unpacked my treasures. They were immaculate. Highly recommended.
