We had this really great aerator that looked like a globe and was pretty and did a great job...but like most thing glass...it broke. I wanted to find something comparable but not made of glass to avoid the last situation. This is ok. Pros: it does indeed aerate like crazy...the design puts a lot of air in the pour which is what its suppose to do strong plastic ok design cons: you have to hold it as you pour. Now, the con isn't such an issue, but when holding it over the glass as you pour, I'm not worried about the product breaking but rather bumping into my glass and breaking that. I may still look around for a good replacement but this fits the bill for now. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. It does an excellent job of opening up your wine. It’s a tried and true way to aerate your wine. It’s a nice thick plastic and well made. The other materials are of good quality as well. It has a nice stand to hold it while it’s out for use and a nice storage bag to keep it clean. It was also pretty easy to clean. I did a bling taste test after pouring my glass (with another glass not aerated) and noticed a difference in taste for sure. Aerating wine makes a real difference in the taste of the wine. You should definitely use an aerator. This one works very well. You simply press it into the mouth of the wine bottle after you remove the cork. A rubber ring holds it in place. You can hear the air bubbling vigorously into the wine when you pour it. You need to remove it to gets the last drops of wine. That's no big deal. My only peeve is that it is not dripless, I think because of the flat spout. ... show more
