I wore tape in extensions for years because my hair only gets so long and gets too thin. I like to take them out in the summer for pools/lakes/motorcycle rides etc. but found I really took less pictures and felt less pretty with my natural hair (it takes a lot of work and product to make it look full). So I decided this year I’ll use clip ins for when I need it! I accidentally ordered two boxes but after opening them realized one box would be much thinner than my tape ins so I got creative and cut the clip ins off of one set and sewed the two sets together. I also gave these a purple shampoo bath to tone the blonde and make it a more ash blonde, just be careful, if you leave it in there too long they will turn purple so I would soak and wash them off to see where I was in the process and if they needed to go back in or if they were toned enough! After a quick trim these are the same thickness and length of my old tape in extensions and only takes about 10 minutes longer in my routine when I want to wear them! For the cost, the extra effort is SOOO WORTH IT!

These extensions are simply put AMAZING for the price. I’ve been experimenting with different extensions for over six years now. I’ve worn all kinds but I’d say clip ins maybe only once when I was first starting out. Let me just say I was never fond of having to take extensions out and putting them in was even harder for me. The process of cutting, blending, and color matching was always too much for me, someone who doesn’t have hours to spend on doing my hair. These locks however blew me away. Not only did my hair color take extremely well on them, but they were so easy to put in, so much that I now actually see no problem with clipping them in and out on a daily basis. They are so soft and full, definitely double wefted. They stay in all day with a little teasing. I can barely feel tension on my head because they are extremely light weight. I love that I can wear them for hours and get no headache unlike with other methods I’ve tried. I was able to dye them pink to match my hair. They do not shed AT ALL which is a huge bonus. One thing to mention is when dying vivid colors, the thread on the wefts do remain the original color. This can however be fixed with some dye made specifically for synthetic fabrics. The hair is 100% human. I haven’t really perfected blending them in yet (I have a hime cut) but I am quickly getting used to placing them in properly, along with help of tutorials and such. I’m sure if you have experience with clip ins you can make these look fabulous and natural. This is my honest review 100% I loved them so much I ended up buying another pack to add more volume and length, considering my hair is on the thicker side as well. Overall, they were worth the price and literally I feel like it is my own hair growing out of my own head :) Worth it!

The color and quality of the hair were great the only problem was there wasn't enough hair in the package. I think I would have to at least buy 3 packs cause my hair is on the thicker side tho these extensions are very thin. If you have finer hair these might work for you
