There is a learning curve to using this, but don’t despair! My vehicle is a 2020 MDX. I learned that you must hold the “umbrella” I’ll call it at a certain angle related to the slope of the windshield.hold it kinda level with the dashboard. You would think doing that would cause the device to smack you in the face. Just remember, even though it acts like an umbrella, it opens Left to Right, so it’s not gonna hit ya. Once it’s up, position the shield to the desired position and you will get close to 100% coverage. The corners have little tabs that are designed to be flexible. Make sure they are positioned to get max coverage. Then secure the of the strap that goes above the rear view mirror. Next, swivel the stem of the umbrella to lay on the dash and you are set! Granted, this thing is a bit labor intensive for a windshield sunshade, and if you put it in the nice sheath it comes in that adds to it. But I think it’s a great device and it’s easier and less bulky than fold ups. Like my dad taught me, “not many things that are worth while are easy.” I’d rate it a 4.5 given the learning curve and the set up, but I don’t see how it could be improved on.
