Bought this for our work truck - dodge ram 1500 (2020). This product is amazing , we live in florida and our windows are already tinted as dark as they allow, however the windsheild was always where the heat was. Bought this after reading the reviews and knowing i needed something easy for my hsband to open and close quickly and this thing is genius! We own a lawn service and are constant stop and go and the easy open and easy close are a life saver rather than trying to finagle the old ones. The built is sturdy and when it opens it stays in place - no need to put down visors. Fits the whole windsheild and keeps it soooo much cooler. We tested the product on day one when we went to busch gardens and set it up, came out around 3 pm and the truck was not scorched and seat were not hot at all and i purposely parked in the sun! Recommend 100%

This is a perfect fit for the Tesla Model 3. It covers the entire front window snuggly. It collapses easily to save space. I like the umbrella like feature to both expand and close the sun screen. It can be a little awkward to expand the screen for the first couple time. We have also found that the brace for the screen should be propped behind the screen, not on the dashboard. The hand/support will leave a small dent if put into the dashboard area. The dent went away from the first times we put it against the dash.

It fits well in the windshield, but I’m not sure they could have found a softer plastic to use for the handle/support rod. Used for less than two weeks and the handle is already permanently bent and doesn’t stay in the windshield all that well anymore.

I bought the sunshade umbrella mostly because other sunshades are a hassle to fold up and stow or the more metallic accordion style shades don't last long. The set-up and takedown of this shade takes only moments and covers up most of my windshield. About the only light seeping through are at the edges of the A pillars. And it's not much. The handle loop allows me to hang it from a hook off the back of the passenger seat, so easy to put away in just a few seconds. As for how well it does its job, it was in the mid-90s this afternoon and I was dreading getting back to my car. I'll tell you, I was surprised that it was pretty bearable upon opening my car door. I don't have any way to check the indoor temperature but it was a noticeable difference between the outside temps versus what it felt like in my cabin. So far, I'm pleased with my purchase. The only question is what the overall lifespan will be. If it doesn't last, I'll be updating, conversely, if by the time you read this it's a few years old, know that it's still probably in use.

I’m giving one star for this product because the idea is good, but the execution could be much better. The quality of the product is not that good as the first day I opened it up, the Velcro strap started to pull apart. When fully opened up, the shade does not provide full coverage and doesn’t sit flush against the windshield. The product, when opened fully, still has a concave shape so the ends don’t fit behind the visors as it should. This leaves significant gaps around the edges of the shade and is therefore less effective when it comes to sun protection. The handle is made from a flexible material so you can’t use it to prop the center of the shade up so that it can sit flush against the windshield. Again, good idea, but the execution and design needs more work. I’ll be using my original pop-up shade because while it can be a little cumbersome to use, it really works and provides full coverage and protection from the sun.
