We have a very large warehouse that designs and sells spas and hot tubs. Because of the size of our products, we also have a very large outdoor storage area that, while completely secure with an 8' tall iron sliding gate, is basically exposed to the elements. Fortunately, the previous tenants left behind some very expensive (and huge) fabric "tarps" that cover the spas from above but offer no protection from the sides. Also, the outdoor area is completely visible from the very busy street running alongside the business. Solution? Took a few days longer to get delivered than expecting. Almost 2 weeks. It's a loosely woven poly or plastic that I am using as an overhead sun screen on my pergola. The rain goes right thru it and it does not sag like the canvas I had prior. I'm not sure how long it will last in the direct sun,but at this price it should be fine if I get one summer from it.It held up great last night in a heavy downpour of rain and does better than expected providing shade. ... show more

Not impressed. Really liked it when I got it. I used it as shade instead of fence screen. It claims to be "commercial Grade". The edges have a nice strong edging and the grommets are good, but the green plastic shade part lasted about 2 months before it shredded in the wind. When I took down the shredded material, it was dry and brittle and falling apart. Full disclosure I used this in the desert with temps of 100-115 degrees regularly, but again this was advertised as "Commercial Grade" - Not. ... show more

When I received this I was dubious of it's quality, but it's lasted over 2 and a half years so far. I have it hanging between 2 trees in a forest in the CA foothills. It is shaded from the trees most of the time and doesn't get exposed to that much wind. However, it gets rained and snowed on and it has a few punctures from tree branches going through it. Also I am hanging the entire 50 ft of it only by 4 of the grommets. So I would have to say it's doing pretty well. ... show more

We bought this to put up on the metal fence that separates the neighbors and out lots. Our kids were getting way freaked out with seeing naked to near naked 60 yr old couple who rent the garage out next door walking around smoking. We had to double layer it, but we don't have a 12 and 14 yr old running out of their rooms yelling "my eyes burn!" anymore. And an added bonus, it seems to help block their cigarette smoke from wafting into the kids rooms. And the price was great!
