I have to tell everyone about this window tint film — the quality is really good, it wasn’t difficult to apply, and the biggest advantage is that it saved me a lot of money compared to getting it done at a shop. But when buying it, please pay attention to the VLT percentage. I chose 5% VLT, and it turned out to be too dark for the front door windows. It looks great during the day, but at night, especially in areas without street lights, it does affect visibility while driving and could become a safety issue. I think 5% VLT is more suitable for the rear windows only. So before ordering, make sure to choose the tint level that matches the effect and visibility you need.

I purchased the TOYOCO Window Tint Film for my Sky 365 roof topper on my Jeep Wrangler, and I’ve been really impressed with it. After watching a quick instructional video, the installation process was surprisingly easy. The film was very forgiving with air bubbles, and I was able to lift and reposition, and reapply it without damaging the material or affecting the final result. The tint film hangs upside down without any issues or concerns. This is a product I would revisit and purchase again and recommend.

If you can afford to pay a professional please do. They earn every bit of their money because applying tint is not easy. But I gave this kit 4 stars because it arrived and it is what it says it is. The box arrived with the roll of tent, instructions, a scrapper and a blade. The hard part was the installation. The measure and cut part is simple. They tell you to use soapy water to install, but I just used trader joe cedar spray cleaner and it worked just fine. I wasn’t willing to waste soap to find out how much soap is soapy. Anyway, on my first attempt to install my back window the film got stuck to the tint as it was unrolling and turned into a sticky icky ball. The tint rips after it sticks to itself so that was a huge waste. On my second attempt it only stuck at the end and I just left it because clearly this was going to keep happening and I didn’t want to waste the roll. The windows were a little easier but measuring on the outside gave me more than I needed on the inside because of how my car is built. So I had to trim twice. There are bubbles in my window. But it’s over 100° and I can feel a dramatic difference with the tint up so I can’t care. I’ll try to do better next year, or save up money for a pro. In the meantime this is it. This is an affordable tint option if you need to be cooler in a pinch but it’s not simple or permanent. Hope this helps.

I've tinted cars before with good results. This film is absolute crap. Spent 15mins trying to separate the liner from the film with all kinds of tapes. Finally did it, no biggie. Installed it, had some fingers on the bottom of window - typical, just needs some heat to shrink. Well, no matter how much heat I gave it and how much I worked it, the fingers would not disappear. And after the final wipe down, I discovered that the provided squeegee absolutely wrecked the film - thick scratches throughout. There goes an hour of my life. Not even gonna attempt the second window, let a pro do it with proper materials.

For the price can you complain? meh. The quality isn't great as one could imagine. If you’re looking to practice it might be fine, although this film is harder to shrink due to the quality. It takes a lot more heat to shrink and sometimes it doesn’t quite behave making this a paradox for a beginner. Sure its cheap but shrinking the film is difficult with a cheap film. So i suppose you learn the hard way which would make higher quality films easier to shrink once you upgrade. After learning how to handle this film i installed on front windshield, it was fine enough but in the desert sunshine this tint wont last more than 3 months. Once applied the film uniformity is a bit hazy and it has a blueish tint to it. if you’re on an extreme budget and just want to learn how to shrink this film might be okay. I would think twice if you are particular.
