I purchased these spikes to replace some of the broken ones on my vinyl shutters and I am very satisfied with the quality of these spikes. They are very sturdy and hold very well. One key piece of advise when installing the new spikes is to be sure you drill through your original mounting holes with a standard 1/4 inch drill bit to clear a path for the new spike. If your original spikes are broken off inside the mounting holes of your home like mine were then you might have trouble trying to pull the old spikes out. ... show more
