I returned these to get a longer pair. I would have been fine with them but a YouTube video popped up in my feed and a designer basically told me that I have been hanging curtains wrong all these years. Lol. I'm retired so it's been awhile. I can see her point now that I learned the correct length, width and placement according to the experts. These curtains are not sheer. They do let in light. I am glad I found someone who can offer them at a responsible price. They are from India. I was expecting someone from China to be the seller. I found these also in white about $5 cheaper. They are a light tan, a warm color. The white I returned and those are a true white and add a brighter cast to the room even with the dark sunny winter sky. I have warm tones throughout our home and didn't want to change that and buy new accent pieces. I'm sure white matched but also was afraid it would get dirty faster or possibly yellow in time. These are very nice looking curtains. I followed the care instructions, but they shrunk significantly and not all to the same lengths. They still look nice and they were extra long to begin with, but I was ok with them being long so I'm a little disappointed.

I ordered 3 different Amazon curtains that were similar to this one. This one is the one labeled (3) in the photo. As you can see, the stitching on these curtains are much neater. The fabric is also more uniform while the other two have a grid like pattern, raised horizontal lines, and darker vertical lines noticeable in the texture of the fabric. This fabric is also thicker and less sheer (though still let’s light through, as expected) than the other two brands. I wish it was a bit wider (this one is 50” while competitors are 55”) ... show more
