    • Easy to clean, did its job
It is a simple design, just two round pieces, so it is considerably easy to clean. However, I thought I was going crazy when my piping tip came out of the top piece. It looks like if you screw it on too tight, then the standard Wilton cupcake piping tips will come off of the coupler. However, it doesn’t bother me because you don’t need to screw it all the way for it to be secure. It is designed perfectly so that it is easy to screw together, but it also has enough resistance that is it stable, even if you don’t screw it to the maximum. I highly recommend this product, just make sure you will use it enough to justify the seven bucks you will spend on it. If you only need it for one occasion, just put the piping tip inside the piping bag and don’t waste your money. :) ... show more

    • Wilton 3 piece tip set (1M, 2D, 2A)...not all tips fit this coupler.
After doing a bit of research to make sure I was purchasing the correct coupler for the correct tip kit, both came in the mail. I ordered the Wilton Extra Large Tip Set which includes the 1M, 2D and 2A metal tips. I tested the fit of these 3 tips with this Large (quite large, let me add...) coupler. 1M and 2A fit fine. 2D did not fit down on the coupler enough and when I screwed the coupler ring on, the 2D tip slid right out of the ring. Any suggestions for what kind of coupler I can get for the 2D tip? Again, 1M and 2A seem to fit this coupler quite tightly and well, but 2D did not. Can I just slide the 2D tip tightly into a 16" Wilton piping bag? I've never used a piping bag without a coupler - do you think it'll work? I appreciate feedback. Thanks! ... show more
