What a great little loaf pan. I used one box of coffee cake mix and it made three nice loaves. I put a little non stick spray in the chambers and took a paper towels to get all the sides. Everything came out evenly cooked, I let the bread cool completely before taking a spatula and run it along the sides of the breads then turn the pan upside down and tap the bottoms (one at a time) before they fall out. I wash and dry my pans by hand because I want to keep them looking new. Nothing stuck. I don't use metal utensils in my pans. I want to keep them scratch free. It might sound like I baby my pans but it really takes little effort to keep them looking new . The loaves are adorable and perfect to freeze individually and take out what you want when needed

First if all, Wilton is the best bakeware I've used over the years. Does not warp during baking and very sturdy. Second, I bought the mini 4-loaf pan to get smaller sized banana bread loaves. I made my normal recipe that would go into full-size loaf pan and equally poured into the 4 compartments. Due to the smaller pan sizes I wasn't sure if the "normal" bake time would work. So, I knocked off 10 minutes (normal was 60 minutes). The 50 minute time was just right. I sprayed the compartments with nonstick spray before adding the batter (recipe called for it). After baking, placed pan on a rack vs using a trivot and after about 10 minutes inverted the pan and the mini loaves came right out...no sticking. My husband and I both agreed that the serving size from a mini loaf is ideal for 2 people. Plus, heat distribution is better between multiple pans vs one. The other nice thing is that I can freeze 2 loaves since it's just the two of us. Next, need to make mini meatloaves. I highly recommend the Wilton loaf pan!

This pan has all of the Wilton quality. I figured I would love o be able to bake multiple loaves of bread in one pan (for ease of positioning in the oven, mainly) but having just used it for the first time today, need to give potential purchasers a heads-up: 1) If your bread contines to rise after being put in the oven, be aware that if you filled the individual pans very full the loaves tend to stick together on the long sides. Traditional bread pans can be moved further apart to prevent this -- a negative for this style of pan. 2) To get the bread out of this pan you must tip all four loaves out at once, unless you have really dense bread that can be lifted out one at a time. My bread is soft and would not tolerate being lifted by the top. Tipping out all of the loaves at once prevents me from being able to cradle each loaf as it comes out and they can become dented as they hit the counter. Not a big deal, but a negative for me.

but I really like this pan. I use it for making snacking breads like banana and pumpkin, the size is perfect and saves me from accidently eating half of a full-sized loaf LOL. I was using the small aluminum (disposable) pans that come stacked for the bread, but they are a real pain to get clean. This pan cleans easily and after baking (I do use crisco to grease the inside) the loaves came out after a smack on the pan... no breakage at all. It won't fit into my convection/toaster which is a bummer, but I had already assumed as much when I bought it. Great pan, it would probably work great for other things that you'd want to portion before freezing. It is around 2" deep so it is a little more difficult to store easily.

I ordered these because I like to make treats for neighbors and friends on holidays, and I was trying to move away from disposable baking tins. I thought these would be more economical over time, as well as environmentally-responsible. They are extremely sturdy and well-made. I have absolutely no trouble getting them to release the loaves, though I will say that I do put a tiny spritz of Pam spray at the bottom of each one before pouring in the batter. A regular batch of batter for a loaf cake will fill 3-4 of the cavities, it varies by recipe, and how tall you want the loaves to be. I have four pans; when I'm baking in bulk, I can fit two on one rack, while I have two more prepared and waiting for the first ones to come out of the oven. I can then pop the next two in while the first ones are cooling. Works really well for me!
