I live in Texas where it is currently 40,000 degrees in the shade. I was waiting for this item so it did not melt on my porch and I scooped it up as soon as I saw the delivery man drop it on the porch with a resounding plop. Obviously there was no insulated packaging or refrigeration in the vehicle because it was completely liquid! 5 stars for the seal on the actual product because at least it did not leak. I guess candy melts is truth in advertising. :-)

Got these last year, but just writing reviews recently. These came as one large melted ball in the bag. Shipping was too hot for them here in the summer. We put them in the fridge overnight before opening it up. We had to break off chunks at a time to get the amount she needed, then re-melted them down. My wife used them to make a few cake pops and they all turned out well. Overall, I will have to pay attention to the time of year when buying these, otherwise, I will just get them at the store for a higher price. It would save time over having to mess with one big glob.

These are an incredible purchase, melt easy, the taste is subtle but delicious, my homemade zebra cakes are the talk of the town because of these! Will definitely buy again!

I probably won’t buy this brand again. I bought the white chocolate in Wilton brand and the dark chocolate in Ghirardelli. I will tell you that the Ghirardelli worked perfectly and tasted better as oppose to this Wilton brand. The white chocolate took a minute and a half in the microwave to melt the chocolate. It did come out thin and liquidity just like its suppose to. It started getting clumpy within 5 mins. After taking it out of the microwave, so I had to work fast. I kept putting it in the microwave for 30 seconds to keep it thin just so I could finish putting it over my treats for Valentines Day. The Ghirardelli I heated once and it stayed liquidity the entire time I was decorating my treats. I put a few melts in a separate bowl and warmed them thinking I could add red food coloring to add some pink to my treats. When I added the 3 drops of food coloring it did mix but then turned into a rock within 30 seconds of mixing. I just had to many problems with the Wilton brand that I didn’t have with the Ghirardelli. As you can see from my pictures I used more dark chocolate than white.

I needed these in a hurry for cake pops and didn't have time to go to the craft store. I was actually able to get these delivered next-day from Amazon. They were the same quality I would get at a store. Melted perfectly, dyed perfectly, hardened quickly and held on the candy decorations I used. I will definitely be purchasing again for other baking projects!

I have no experience with candy making. This candy was easy to use, just microwave it and stir. The first batch came out best and all of the molds came out smooth with no bubbles. Even the last batch which seemed very thick came out good for most of the candies, just a few that it didn't make it all the way to the bottom of the mold. It tastes like white chocolate, nothing special, but great for the purpose for which it was purchased.

These are good for covering cake balls, or using in silicone molds with some type of filling. The project will come out very cleanly. However, I don't recommend them for just making melt and mold candies, as they do not taste as good as some other brands of melting vanilla. They do taste okay, I just wouldn't make them the main thing.
