The putter was every ounce as good as I’ve heard/read. So far I’ve only spent 2 hours with it on the practice green but I quickly found myself sinking putts that I thought were hopeless. Would definitely buy again.

First impressions review. First, alignment is easy, and I like the setup. Second, the ball does NOT explode off the face, like some putters I've had before. Very important to me that I be able to control the speed. Third, the forgiveness is way better than my Scotty. The twisting on off center hits is pretty far out off center...and should be considering this is a high MOI putter. A head cover was included, as seen in the pictures. I'm not a fan of the grip however, and don't really care for the Super Stroke type putter grips anyway...I like a tour style oversized pistol grip, and may change it out, but I'm going to give it a chance first. Will update this review after I've played a round with it..thanks Update-7/15/25. I'm really loving this putter..it tracks sooo much truer than old Scotty blade putter. The high MOI really keeps it stable though impact. Still getting used to distance control, and loving the fact that the ball does not explode off the face uncontrollably. I did get used to the grip, and don't mind it at all now. I'm aking at least 20% more putts that old putter...but just like any putter out there...if you don't get the line, and speed correct...then no putter in the world is going to work. ... show more

I bought the Buckingham putter strictly out of curiosity after reading a MyGolfSpy review. It received a two-year run as Best Value putter so I had to give it try. I play Wilson Staff clubs from top to bottom in my bag, but I have never given their putters a thought until now. I've owned several blade and mallet putters that are two to three times more in price and can honestly say that this putter performs just as well if not better than them. It is super forgiving being that it's a high MOI style putter. The alignment lines are solid and the feel is also great. It doesn't feature any fancy face insert, but I don't think that hurts the performance. The grip isn't exactly anything to rave about, but I plan on installing a Gravity GG1 anyway. With all that said, Wilson did something right. This putter offers great value for the coin that doesn't burn a hole in your wallet. There's a reason why MyGolfSpy gave it high honors in their Most Wanted testing. At $130, I would without a doubt buy this putter again. ... show more
