I love Willet products. As far as I am concerned they are very well made. I own 5 pairs of Willet pants. These are quite well made. The fabric is not see through. The pockets are deep enough for my needs which is basically a tissue or two. The legs fit perfectly and the length is very much to my liking. I’m a 29” inseam. The bum is not too tight. Plenty of room there. The only problem I have is that the waist is a little snug. The pants fit in every other way. The tie string is completely unnecessary in this instance because the elastic waistband is so snug. I’m keeping them because I am only planning on wearing them when I want to dress up a bit. The tight waistband might keep me from over eating on a dinner date with my husband. I’m 5’4”, 120 lbs, 29” inseam. I usually wear a 6-8 in pants. ... show more

Update review: I did not realize how much these pants smelled like urine! At first I thought I was just imagining it. I have washed them at least 4 times and I cannot get the smell out. I am barely 5.3" and between 155 and 160 lbs. I reluctantly ordered the khaki, medium size, based on the sizing chart measurement guide. When I tried them on, they were a bit snug for my taste; not super tight, but not as loose and free as I wanted them to be. I was ready to box them up and send back for the large, but decided to wear them around a bit since I read a review that stated linen does loosen up after some wear. I am glad I kept them. I am new to wearing linen, so it took a little getting used to, but I am glad I kept this pair. They are so comfortable. I have only worn them once, so I cannot attest to their durability, but they seem to be very well made. I wish they weren't so pricey, but I will likely be ordering more pairs in other colors. ... show more

These pants are my go to for every thing. They are well made of quality material that holds up in the wash very well. There is no funny sizing, just choose the right length for you. I have these in several colors. Two of the best points, in my opinion, are the pockets and the drawstring. The pockets are deep and generous but don’t poke out or lie in a funky way. The drawstring at the waist isn’t super long like many other pants of this style, so it can be tied neatly and doesn’t look like a big knot in your middle. I usually dry mine in the dryer for about 20 minutes and then hang them to finish air drying. This takes out the wrinkles, but a quick warm iron will touch it up nicely.. This is my second purchase of these pants. I’m 5’7. 158 lbs and carry a bit of weight in my mid section. These size medium pants fit perfectly . The wide band at the waist hides the muffin top. They washed well on gentle cycle. Do not use a dryer!!! Air dry and then starch them and iron on low and almost zero wrinkles when wearing them . Medium weight fabric. I bought 31 in inseam and they are great with a platform tennis shoe or sandal. Warning, if you put them in the dryer, the threads in the seams will shrink and ruin the fit of these pants. I’m assuming they used cotton thread because it’s shrinks and bunches up. I had to rewash them and stretch them back to normal after putting them in the dryer for only five minutes. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I'm very impressed with these pants! It's challenging to order clothes on line because quality of fabric and construction can be so poor and fit is all over the place. These pants are Great! The fabric and workmanship is good, the design of the waistband is comfortable and should last well. Having front and back pockets is fantastic and they look cute. I love that you can order various lengths to get what is right for you. I love this sage green color, I think it will be very versatile. And I think I may order in another color or two! ... show more

Very nice pants although they are absurdly long. I’m 5’4, 135 & Amazon recommended a large. I would have been good with medium. These are a blend of cotton and linen. Tag says do not iron which is also absurd. Of course you can iron them. I am swimming in this pants but I cut off 2 inches of hem and washed and hung to dry then ironed and they are a nice baggy pants. They are not see through, they did not shrink much and the waistband is nice and wide with an attractive drawstring. I’d give a 5 star review if they weren’t so long and huge. But I am wearing them at work right now with vans and a black top and denim shirt jacket & it looks very cute! ... show more
