I generally try to be frugal when it comes to accessorizing my motorcycles. As a result, I usually opt for used stuff from other people or try to find inexpensive versions of name brand products. In this case, I wanted a waterproof duffle that I could put on the back of Royal Enfield Himalayan that added some visibility and utility. My only real criteria were that it be waterproof and that it not cost hundreds of dollars - enter the Wild Heart waterproof duffle. I ordered the 40L version and really wish I had ordered the larger one, but this one is just big enough for me to stuff my jacket and full face helmet into it when I get to where I am going. As you can see, you can also fit a 15 pound bag of dogfood into it should you so desire (I was going to strap it to my bike, but when I realized it would fit into the duffle and it was raining, I figured why not?). I have had it in the rain and everything has stayed dry inside the bag (see pic with water beads - might have to zoom in a bit). The duffle comes with straps to secure it onto your motorcycle and a few extra straps for expanded storage. A nice touch is that the straps include sewn on hook and loop fasteners on the end which allow you to roll up the slack sand then secure them so they aren't flapping around in the wind. The bag also includes a handle so that if you want to take the bag off of the bike, you can carry it with you. I can't attest to its overall durability in rough riding since I mainly use my bike for commuting and trips with extremely light weight offroad use. The bag seems like it will hold up well enough and I don't think you can go wrong for the money. I can't say whether or not it will hold up on safari or in an offroad race, but I think for your average person this is more than sufficient. ... show more

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. A TRUE GOD SEND. This bag solved all my motorcycle commuting issues. I just purchased a motorcycle but did not want anything permanently attached to my bike for commuting/travel/groceries. I did not want to use saddle bags or a top case. I decided to try one of these duffel bags and I'm so glad I purchased this! I keep forgetting to take pics of the several trips I've done with it. I'll post some the next time I use them. I purchased the 40 and 66L bags. The 40L is plenty big and is your standard duffel bag size but with more room because of it having more vertical space. I have a Honda rebel 300 and It sits on my rear rack or passenger seat and does not hang over enough to rub against my tire (even when empty). I can still wear my backpack with this behind me on the passenger seat too. I use it for groceries and travel. After being impressed with the 40L bag, I got the 66L just in case I had a situation that required more carrying capacity. With the 66L I was able to fit 2 weeks of dirty clothes and a month of dirty towels for a laundry mat trip. The 66L is huge!!!! I honestly don't see myself using this big ol bag that much, but when the time comes when I need it, I'll be glad I got it. I can't wear a backpack with the 66L sitting on my passenger seat though, it's too big. I wish the 40L bag had the tough anti-skid bottom to it like the 66L bag has because it's really nice and durable. ... show more

When planning a week-long motorcycle trip with some friends, I was looking for a quality a dry bag for my camping gear. I was planning to purchase a duffel from a motorcycle-specific brand for nearly four times the price until my friend shared this with me. He bought one of these duffels along with the matching panniers to outfit his bike and I thought well......why not give it a try? To be honest, I'm not one to take chances on "no-name" gear, especially for a trip like this, but I decided to give it a go and could not be happier with the outcome. The bag worked perfectly for my trip. The ease and flexibility of the mounting system was one of the things I liked, along with the exhaust valve which allowed me to compress it quite a bit when not full. I initially bought the 40L size but it was a bit too small, so returned it and got the 66L version which was perfect. I was able to pack my tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, camp stove, waders and fly fishing gear in it with room to spare. As for durability, my friend went-down at about 25mph on a rough paved road (hit some loose gravel in a turn) and as you can see from the photo I posted his pannier, which was under the bike when it went down, survived the skid without any tears or real damage. Pretty impressive. I would definitely buy this again and highly recommend it to others looking for a quality dry duffel. The value pricing is just an added bonus. ... show more

I just took a 1,068 mile round trip to stay on the side of a mountain for four days. I used this big bag to offset the capacity I lost moving from hard panniers to soft panniers. I didn't want to pack my 80L terraframe to my bike, so this was a good compromise. I stuffed it to the brim with everything essential, and it more than held up to the challenge. I was particularly happy with the way it handled being knocked around over rocks and other things (missouri cacti, for example) without developing a rip, tear, or leak. The included compression straps work great, but the included mounting straps tend to loosen over a long enough period, causing me to check and recheck them at every stop I made, sometimes re-tightening them slightly. This is not necessarily a knock on them, but I think it's a small improvement that could be made, swapping the buckles for ones with more aggressive teeth to sink further into the nylon to stop it from sliding out. I did appreciate the various retro-reflective dots on the bag, it definitely made me feel more visible riding through the night. All in all, I'm glad I bought this, it definitely worked exactly how I wanted it to work. ... show more
