What's with all the women's clothing lately that runs so excessively large? Have women's clothing manufacturers started enlarging large to adapt to our country's terrible obesity problem to "normalize" it? I recently purchased more than a dozen items in preparation for a Caribbean vacation, and every one except for my bathing suit swallows me up. I've had to return every one. I greatly dislike snugness, and prefer my clothes somewhat loose, but this is ridiculous! I'm 5'5", 138 lbs, have a 32" waist and wear a 38-C bra. I bought this in a medium! Not only that - it wipes the floor even with 2" heels. I do like the design, and the pants are quite slimming. The material is flowy, soft, and cool. So, I'm returning it for a small. Lovely, hip outfit. However, the top size and the pant size are vastly divergent in size. The top is a snug medium while the pant is a huge medium. I am keeping the, as I can wear it but would not recommend due to the strange sizing standards.
