I did snip off the extra length, but I'm good with hair and used a razor. Your salon person would most probably cut the bangs properly according to your preference. It does not shed at all! Super cute BUT the bangs are VERY thin and also aren't as wide as bangs typically are (unless I just have a huge forehead that nobody has told me about.) I ended up taking some hair from the sides of the bangs and cutting them to try to make the bangs look more full and natural (didn't work great but was good enough for halloween) as well as styling the bangs more with a flat iron on low temp. Love the color but the wig is horribly sewn. Absolutely Horrible! Couldn't even try on its that bad. Return and refund were hassle free. A replacement was offered I respectfully declined. It WAS that bad ya'll!
