I test many types of security cameras and these new screw in versions are new to me but I got this one and have been pleased with it. I have plenty of cameras outside my home but sometimes we felt the need for inside cameras in the living areas since we like to see what the dogs are doing since I am pretty confident that no person is going to get into my house without me being notified by the security system. The problem is that there are times when one of the dogs has exhibited some behavior that needs to be addressed and without the camera, we don't know who the guilty party is many times (we have 4 dogs). This fit that need perfectly and turning it on and off was simple as a switch (yes with some cameras that is a multi-step process). I have to mention that for folks on a limited budget or in a small apartment this is a very inexpensive method for a security system. The setup was easy, the motion detection worked perfectly plus if it is dark the light will come on letting anyone know they have been spotted and you can warn them if you wish. Extremely disappointed in this product. So that was not as easy as they showed in those videos, and all the help tutorials throughout the app would not play to help me out. They finally showed me on the app that it currently cannot hooked up to a 5G Internet. That’s stupid. And in order to capture any images, you have to sign up and pay for an iCloud account. I originally purchased this for my home which had the screw in bulb that I was going to use this for. However, since moving, where I wanted to put it there was no area for a light or to plug it in using that option but there was a plug. This still worked out for me because I'm still able to use it. There is an on/off switch on that adapter piece but with my plug, I just leave the switch on and it stays on. Setting this up was really easy to do and very convenient that the SD card is on the bottom which means I never have to worry about water getting inside. This has been through all types of weather, except for snow but still works great. I get live video feed anytime I want to check it and I get notified if any movement is detected. This even acts as a light because one does turn on. While you can tell that this is a camera, it's only noticeable when you're looking right at it. This has great picture quality at night or during the day, but at night, since the light turns on it's similar to the day time. ... show more

The app only connects to the camera when it wants to. I was constantly resetting the camera. The picture quality was great, but the frame rate was terrible. Also, it’s very easy to have stolen. Highly recommend the cloud storage if purchasing.

The media could not be loaded. This was super easy to setup. You can choose to plug it in or use it in a socket, quite versatile. I like that this can be used indoors or outdoors, it has withstood some pretty crazy rainstorms, the SD card is appropriately placed on the bottom so that it can be outside. This also makes it easy for me to access it. When motion is detected it alerts me via my phone. I like that it is a functioning light - it lights up the area I want to observe and also provides me with additional security footage discreetly.
