I purchased two units of the original version of this product a while back, and decided to buy the updated model because the original worked so well. (We have plenty of room for our pups to play, but want to make sure they stay away from neighbors' cattle farms.) The newer model is lighter. It also features a significantly improved collar. Here's what we've noticed thus far. 1. Even though the new version is lighter, it delivers warnings just as effectively. Our dogs didn't try to get through the GPS fence. The smaller size does not seem to compromise battery life. 2. The interface is very easy to program. The collar makes a circle from the starting point you determine. 3. It seems to be very well made; I'll post again on if any issues arise. I recommend the product enthusiastically.

I have a couple of older model collars that have worked good and got the newer model. I have this collar on my dog who is about 45 pounds. She responds well to it. I like the upgrades with the power button on the back of the device and the fact that the device is smaller than the older model. Battery life seems to be good and the coverage area is very good. Nice product.

We have purchased the new 2023 model and are very pleased with the improvements: smaller design, stays on during charging which saves your set location, no miss reads while in the house, easy instructions, good warranty and great customer service. Our dog is very smart and stubborn, having the higher adjustable settings helps with his initial training. Then we can adjust down or off going forward. Will buy again for future dogs.

This is my 3rd Wiez collar that I have purchased and I have to say that it is the best one around for a really great price. The battery lasts a very long time and it takes very little time to hook up to the satellites. I love that when you turn it on it resets the way-point and it doesn’t have to be constantly reset. Just turn it off and on again. It is lightweight and improved from the first two I purchased. Easy to operate and easy to wipe clean. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an economical way to keep your dog within the area without wires and a lot of hard work.

I have two of the previous model in use, after returning many competitors'. The new model is even lighter and less bulky. It is very reliable, holds a charge all day, recharges overnight and is ready to go again. We use the collars to allow our dogs to roam free on the farm, while keeping them off the road or from following a trail too far. My only complaint is that the collar doesn't have a band after the buckle to hold the excess.

I cannot express how much this collar is a huge sanity saver! I have the older version which works great-so when I saw Wiez had released a new version I had to get it! I first saw these in a dog group as a recommendation for owners that live in the country with no fences, and I knew this would be exactly what I need. Its expensive to chainlink 10 acres! Now I dont have to worry about my dog crossing the road, or chasing coyotes or just wandering-and he still gets a large area to run. After training, it only took two of the shocks and he learned his area. So I turned that off using only the vibration and sound. He now stops and sits before entering the warning zone. I also found this collar to be so useful when we go on vacation, and with the new lower boundry areas I can set it to an even smaller area for when we are at cabins or air bnbs. This is the absolute most affordable option for keeping your dog contained and not wandering. Keeps them safe, saves your sanity!

I have one of the older models of this and this new one is much smaller and works even better! My small 20 lb pup can wear it much more comfortably. This one can be set to a smaller radius which is helpful if you have a small yard. Ours is set on 50 meters which keeps her from going out to the road. It works so well I highly recommend it!

We have the original WEIZ GPS Fence which is very good, but we really like the extended range of the new WEIZ GPS Fence and longer battery charge. We have a couple hundred acres that is wooded and has several streams. We set the new model to a larger circle to give our Bloodhounds more ground to explore! Our dogs come back after a couple of hours happy and all tuckered out, then take a nap till the afternoon adventure! They also seem to be more moisture resistant. These are the best wireless fence collars for the value. You have to spend over a $1000.00 to get a higher grade of GPS collar.
