Most of my weight is in my belly and the band hugs it tightly but not uncomfortably. It is thin enough for some breathing but not crazy thin. If you wear black underwear though with the lighter colors you probably will be able to very lightly see it. The fabric is very nice and cozy. They don't roll at all. Definitely squat proof and the fit is nice. But I bought these to wear at Pilates and the seam through the crotch was awful the entire class. If you’re running, lifting, cycling, maybe these are fine. But if you’re doing legs in straps on a reformer you’re going to hate every second with the middle seam.
