Like all cat foods my cat seem to like it and wasn't allergic to it but then after about a week or 2 he rejects them and now I have to move on to another brand. Weird thing is he rejects regular meat as well like boiled chicken or fresh salmon but he will eat tuna and salmon in the can just a little bit but he's mostly interested in the salt water. Strangely enough my last batch of cats started doing the same thing towards the end. But they were pushing 20 and he's only about 10 ... show more

I have one cat that will eat most wet food. He was totally up for trying this Whole Paws salmon and whitefish flavor. He ate some, but not all of it. The other cat will not eat wet food if there are too many different types of proteins included. This one contains multiple types of fish and chicken so he passed. ... show more

I live in the country and we have three resident feral cats. We Laos frequently have strays show up on the property and we try to trap them to get them fixed. If they are getting along with the residents they can hang around but if not they get relocated to a local dairy barn. Getting them in the trap is the hard part and usually takes something very enticing. I don’t have any to trap right now but wanted to give this food a test with the residents, for future reference. It smells about like any other fish-based cat food, which is to say not great to us but appealing to kitties. I dumped it in one bowl and their dry kibble in the other and quickly had three heads trying to get into that one side to get a taste of fishy deliciousness! That said, I don’t think I would pay much more per ounce than the comparable well-known brand. Because the cats love that one too! ... show more
