  • When it arrived it was a better quality than I expected
Color: Black and Chrome - 18.5 x 33 x 66 inch
I purchased this for my work & for the price. I'm a wardrobe manager on a show and work on costumes at home. I got mine on a special for really, really cheap. I knew what to expect since I own one already. When it arrived it was a better quality than I expected. It's easy to assemble just make sure to use a mallet to assist in getting the poles into place tightly. I use mine daily for laundry. I load it up with wet costumes and place it on the balcony for items to dry. I like the way this one adjust for the height with metal push nubs much more secure then my older one with plastic flip locks(I've hade it about 8 years now). Yes, this rack is challenging to maneuver when loaded and yes, it feels flimsy when you're trying to roll it loaded up but what would one expect when only paying under $20 for a clothing rack?! If you're rolling it on a carpet it more tricky than a hard surface floor. It serves its purpose well. I plan on purchasing a couple more for my shop and I would recommend them to anyone thinking about purchasing. NOTE: The support poles at the bottom are the key to balance on these racks. When looking for the right rack look for 2 or 4 support poles that are placed far apart. This particular one has 2 a good distance (approx. 9.5"), my older one has 2 that are only about 3' apart causing it to be more flimsy and harder to maneuver. PICTURE: This is in the lowered setting. It is loaded with costumes ready to be bagged up for transport. There is about 30-40lbs of garments on it. I've put heavier and it holds up fine. ... show more

  • Love everything about this !!!!
Color: 34 x 17 x 69 inch
Awesome !! Holds at least 20 wet shirts with plenty of room to dry hanging up . Very sturdy too . Mine was on rollers with a smaller wire rack on the bottom which is super great for wet gym shoes to dry on . I actually ended up buying a second one for my son . Looks great and super easy to put together , no tools required and it’s easy to store . ... show more

  • Rack
Color: Black and Chrome - 18.5 x 33 x 66 inch
The garment holder was smaller than expected. It isn’t that sturdy. I found a bigger one that works better.

  • Review of Whitmor Deluxe Adjustable Garment Rack - Rolling Clothes Organizer
Color: 34 x 17 x 69 inch
This product is assembled and disassembled without tools or screws/nuts &bolts. Great for temporary use such as bringing in plants from outdoors for the winter or poolside towels. Assembly is uncomplicated and logical. The adjustments up and down & side extensions make the product very versatile. The wheels are fine for intended purpose of a clothes rack; the weight of plants can be a challenge, but doable. I have 4 hanging plants on the top bar with no bending and 4 heavy pots on the bottom. This exceeds the design capacity, but it worked. I was also surprised at the relatively low price. ... show more

  • Not worth the good price.
Color: 34 x 17 x 69 inch
Lasted for all of a week before it collapsed and scared the living heck out of me! It was not very stable to begin with but I was really hoping it would work out :(. Cracked right at a top part and too light weight to actually hold more than 3-4 shirts or sweaters.

  • Nice, but not very stable
Color: 34 x 17 x 69 inch
Okay, here's the saga of how this went together for me. First, I thought the packaging was pretty good, and as you can see in the 2nd picture, the plastic around each part was labeled with the part code. I noticed and appreciated that the ends of all the pipes were finished with a slight curve inward, so it was easier to put the parts together. At first I was baffled by the lack of one of the parts, until I discovered that the silver piece was packed inside a black piece, as showning the 4th picture. Later I found that was mentioned on the diagram, but it wasn't very obvious. The 5th picture shows the assembled rack... and the 6th picture shows what I found when I came back after a couple hours. As for the actual assembly process, I found the crosswise pieces went together fairly easily, and the uprights fit into their sockets without too much trouble. However, the base, with the 4 horizontal pieces, was a real bear. The "fit & finish" of the joint where the horizontal black pieces go into the 2 bases wasn't very good. Having been warned about that by other reviewers, and then finding it out for myself, what I did was get a can of spray lubricant (sorry, don't have it right in front of me, but it said "plastic safe") and a rubber mallet. First I sprayed a little bit of the lubricant in each of the sockets in each of the 2 base pieces. Then I stood the base up sideways, so the 4 black pieces were oriented up, and got the 2nd base piece (barely) positioned at the top end of the black pieces. (Would have been easier with a 2nd pair of hands.) Then I used the rubber mallet to tighten up the connections between the 4 black rods and the 2 base pieces. At that point they were reasonably secure, and I could put the assembly back down. Then I put the wheels in place. I used a little bit of the spray lubricant on those sockets also. The wheels popped in okay, but took a little bit of force to get seated all the way in. Then I put the 2 uprights together and seated those in the base, then put the horizontal assembly on top. It was easy to move the rack around, the wheels seem to work well. *** Then I started putting clothes on the rack. As the rack got more full with rather heavy formal dresses, it became obvious that its stability was not too good. I carefully positioned the rack against a table, and hoped it would stay put. However, when I came back a couple hours later, I found that it had fallen over. I think the problem is that the base isn't heavy enough for the weight, i.e., the center of gravity wasn't low enough. I'm going to put a couple boxes of books on the lower part and see if that improves the balance. *** Overall, I think it's a nice rack for the price. Just be aware that you probably don't want to put a lot of heavy clothes on it, or if you do, you'll have to do something to improve the stability. My other remark is that there weren't really any assembly instructions. There was a very nice, very clear diagram of the parts and how they went together, but no instructions per se. I've put a lot of things together before, so it wasn't too much of a problem for me, but it would have been nice to have a little more guidance, and for someone not used to assembling things from parts it might be kind of baffling. At any rate, even given a few difficulties to overcome, I still like the rack, and if it can be steadied with some weight at the base I'll come back and report. *** [a few days later] Putting some boxes of books on the base definitely helped. I'm not going to be putting as many heavy clothes on it, but it seems to be standing up okay with a moderate number of dresses. (I've added a picture of the current "load".) ... show more

  • Easy to assemble, sturdy.
Color: 34 x 17 x 69 inch
Arrived in a small box. At first comparing components to the instructions, seemed some things were missing. But no, they were tucked inside other ones, so need to open plastic bags to see other components. Everything was indeed in the kit. Putting it together took less than 10 minutes. Components are well made and fit together well. The unit is sturdy. I had to kinda apply all my weight onto it to get the final frame to snap into the base, but that’s how sturdy it is. I didn’t attach the wheels, because it will be a stationary item at my home. And basket fits right under it. The bar fits a lot of hangers and the extendable sides are a very nice feature. I didn’t want to drill holes in the walls and risk any other wall-secured shelves or racks to be ripped out. So this free-standing one is great to use to hang as much clothes as needed. ... show more
