  • Great storage facility work shoe!
Size: 8 Color: All Black
The WHITIN Women's Wide Toe Box Road Running Shoe has been working out great for my job at a storage facility, where I’m on my feet most of the day. These shoes are incredibly comfortable, lightweight, and breathable. I can actually feel the air moving in and out of the shoes as I walk, which really helps reduce that “hot feet” feeling during long days in warm weather. I also LOVE the wide toe box! My toes finally have room to spread naturally instead of feeling cramped and compressed — and honestly, toes were not meant to be squeezed together all day. The material feels great, and I’ve been pleasantly surprised by how fresh the shoes stay even after wearing them all day in the heat. In fact, I actually checked for odor after a full day of work, and there really wasn’t any noticeable bad smell, which is impressive! Another thing I appreciate is that they are lightweight while still feeling durable. I’ve walked through dirt, sand, and even gotten them slightly wet at times. Impressed with the quality of the material - they dried very quickly after dabbing them off, which was another nice surprise. Overall, my experience with these shoes has been excellent so far, and I’m very happy with them. ... show more

  • Such amazing shoes for such a humble price! Severe plantar fasciitis person here. Such amazing shoes for such a humble price! Severe plantar fasciitis person here.
Size: 9 Color: Blue
I suffer from extreme pain from plantar fasciitis. Bought all the "official plantar fasciitis shoes" that cost $150 on up. They all sit on my rack. Altras were the only ones that worked but that cost $159. Saw Whitin shoes, zero drop and the PRICE. Could such a low priced shoe really work?? Tried it and I'm floored by its quality, simplicity and comfort. It doesn't have any support insole built up like the main players but it surprisingly did not matter. It's lightweight, beautiful elegant design and pure comfort even for my aching feet at ONLY $50. Most mornings I can't even walk without limping in pain. When I put these on, it distributes my weight properly and lines my feet up and somehow that eases away the pain. Well ventilated, my feet feel dry and I can wear it all day. They are so comfy is sometimes forget to change into my outdoor Altras when I go for walks. For this price, I am getting more and buying some for my elderly mom who suffers from foot pain. This glowing review is not solicited from anyone. Just wanted to show how much this product helped my pain. No need to drop hundreds on shoes when this one does way better in every way. Highly recommend. Also, the slip in back edge is very handy. ... show more

  • "Wide toe box" should not be synonymous with "wide shoe size"
Size: 10 Color: Purple
One thing I wish Whiten and other shoe brands that make "wide toe box" shoes would get clear on: "wide toe boxes" are not just of benefit to people with "wide feet" who wear "wide shoe sizes". Those of us with medium/regular or other foot widths need shoes with wider toe boxes, too, but WITHOUT HAVING TO BUY SHOES IN "WIDE SHOE SIZES". HELLO!!! That said, I LOVE shoes with wide toe boxes. They fit your feet more anatomically, and after wearing them, a number of foot and ankle problems I was experiencing just vanished. I don't understand why the only thing we've had to choose from until recently are those awful shoes with pointy toes that cause so many foot problems. I also like the zero drop concept, but I'm not much of a fan of the barefoot concept. So I decided to try this style of shoe for everyday wear and just walking. This shoe style, though it supposedly is made in a medium width shoe size", still is made for pretty wide feet. I have medium width feet. So these shoes are VERY wide at the toe for me, but since the shoe fits well otherwise, I'll be keeping them. I inadvertently ordered a size larger than I intended, but now I'm glad I did. While this shoe has a thicker sole than the "barefoot" shoes, there still is not much cushioning for shock absorption or much in the way of arch support. Frankly I don't know how they can market this as a "running shoe". But once I added an insert with some heel cushioning and arch support, the shoe is much nicer to wear and walk in, and it conforms much better to the shape of my foot. I will probably buy another pair of these when they wear out. But seriously, I wish Whiten (and others) would also offer more of their "wide toe box" shoe styles in medium width shoe sizes. ... show more

  • Relief for My Feet -- And Maybe Yours, Too!
Size: 11 Color: All Black
With my Spenco inserts, these shoes have been great for relieving my plantar fasciitis. Lots of nice room for my toes, which also helps with balance.

  • Not a true zero drop/barefoot shoe Not a true zero drop/barefoot shoe
Size: 8 Color: Grey Gum
If you're looking for a shoe to absorb impact on your joints, this may not be the correct shoe. *I am not a runner and never have been, so I am not sure how these would perform for running as they are titled as a roadrunning shoe. Very attractive shoe and the material is a breathable fabric. It's not designed for outdoor cold winter weather, the square toe box is comfortable. I purchased these with the intent to wear them as a zero drop training shoe at F45 however the insole and outer soul is stiff that it does not absorb impact, I prefer to slightly feel the ground doing weight lifting / squat type movements. With that being said, I will stick with Merrell Minimalist shoes for training and will try these on the pickleball court. Update 28days later: I find the shoe comfortable on the foot for walking and everyday wear however I am not a fan of walking on hard surfaces/concrete with these. I did wear the shoe during some F45 workouts and I didn't like it. There was no lateral support from the arch to the toe box, the soul was too thick putting my feet too high from the ground which resulted in me not having much control and the shoe did not flex the way I prefer for doing lunges. FYI- This particular style is not Barefoot or a Minimalist shoe! Please understand that before you order. And .. use their size guide and measure your feet as recommended in order to get the proper fit. My personal preference, I will probably not purchase shoes from this brand again, although I wanted it to work. Barefoot shoes: -zero drop -No cushioning; very thin sole for maximum ground feel *you can actually feel the ground through your feet. -Minimal protection from ground hazards -Extremely flexible to mimic barefoot movement -Designed to REPLICATE the experience of being barefoot -wide toe box and more natural fit to match the natural foot. MINIMALIST Shoes: - zero-8mm drop -minimal cushioning vs NO cushioning like the barefoot -flexible, but a slightly thicker sole then a barefoot -it sits between a barefoot and traditional shoes. This particular style (zero drop wide toe box road shoe) fits the foot as shoes should fit the foot, with a natural wide toe box. The shoe itself is not a wide fit. It has a very stiff sole and insole even compared to my New Balance zero drop walking sneaker (minimalist and barefoot shoes do not have stiff soles) While the base of the sole is non slip it's a harder material that does not appear to absorb shock. ... show more

  • 5 stars so far!
Size: 9 Color: Black
Starting with 5 stars based on delivery, packaging, and first try-on. Very lightweight and sturdy. Not a lot of cushioning on the inside but still surprisingly comfortable. Easy to put on and the shoe strings are nice and long. They are true to size and I really appreciate the cushioning around the back of the shoes supporting the ankles. The toe box is perfect and my foot is not being crushed on top because the tongue of the shoe actually cradles the top of my foot instead of stabbing it. I walked around my living room in these and I actually feel more flexible in my ankles which is what I was hoping for with anterior tendon issues when I run. I literally smiled and said “I think I might love these”. We’ll see! I’m hoping these will keep their 5 star rating when I take them on the track tomorrow morning. I’ll update y’all soon! Update: OMG! These made ALL the difference! Wtf??? I’ve spent soooo much money on other “popular” brands that killed my shins and tendons in my ankles (I thought I was just in bad form), but THESE!!! I just ran a mile in these on a paved track and NO PAIN IN MY ANKLES OR TENDONS!!!!! I’m in love with these!!!! If you strike more on your mid foot or ball of your foot when you run, these are definitely for you!!!! YESSSSS!!!!! ... show more

  • GREAT WIDE FIT ZERO DROP SHOE WITH CUSHION!! GREAT WIDE FIT ZERO DROP SHOE WITH CUSHION!!
Size: 8.5 Color: White
Y’all! I’ve tried so many barefoot shoe brands and am surprisingly very impressed with these!! I ordered the running ones (listed) and the canvas ones. The canvas is very flexible like most all of the barefoot, wide toe, zero drop shoes. These are not flexible when you point your toe but do flex well for pushing off the ground / toe flex up. I follow Anya’s Reviews and have tried Vivobarefoot (good for ppl with longer second toe, which I don’t have) Mukishoes (very flat, fun for frolicking in fields), Origo (super durable, nice quality), Flux, Xero, Lems, and Inov8. There are things I do like about all of them but my feet do get really tired after being on concrete all day. Which is frequent. I really like the Whitin running sneaker because it’s WIDE and zero drop but has some stack to the sole. Plus they are very cute! The design on the sole that looks like an arch in the shoe/foot is really nice and makes them look more like a normal shoe. Plus the price is way better than most other barefoot shoes. Yes, I understand why - but idc anymore. I care about my feet. 10/10 recommend to my fellow wide shoe barefoot people who might be looking for more cushion! I’d also recommend to not size up a half size like most running shoes. I’m an 8.5 and they fit great! I was swimming in the 9. Also I have a “slope”/“Egyptian” foot shape and a medium-high volume arch. Wide fit, wide toe, wide toe box, barefoot sneaker, zero drop with cushion ... show more

  • Whiten Men's wide vs Womens Wide Whiten Men's wide vs Womens Wide
Size: 10 Color: Purple
On my 4th pair of Whiten Zero Drop Barefoot Shoe in Men's size 8.5 and they are very comfortable except I can feel the ground too much. Stepping on a pebble hurts. I had to wear mens shoes my whole life just to get wide enough width and I really wanted some girl colored shoes. I bought these hoping they would be wide enough and offer just a bit more thickness between my feet and the road. I was careful to read the measurements and directions which said I would need a size 10. That seemed wrong but I bought them anyway. I can say that the length feels about a half size too long and the girth is a bit more snug around. The toe box is a little narrower than the men's that I usually buy but walking around it feels ok. For some reason, these are a little more uncomfortable while driving. The white Whiten Men's 8.5 zero drop barefoot shoes are a little wider and a little longer and more comfortable except I can feel the road/pebbles when walking. I will be returning the purple ones sadly. C'mon Whitin, make some mens in black/turquoise or purple. Give us some more colors or make the women's shoes the same width as the mens. ... show more
