Balance issues and now recovering from knee replacement, I have tried physical therapy and exercises to stop walking with my weight pushing forward in my shoes. Reading about various companies that advertise barefoot shoes, I decided to try WHITIN shoes. I chose them because I like shoes that I can place snugly and these looked like they would fit. I have only walked and stood in them for two days, but I am standing with my weight balanced on all of my foot, including my heels. They are light weight and at times feel like a comfortable slipper but yet very supportive. My toes were always sore from being pushed to the ends of my shoes. It will take a long time to correct not walking with a normal gait, but these shoes will help me get there. Ordered two more pairs in other colors. I have many foot issues. My right foot has every "itis" there is and neuropathy. My podiatrist told me to wear a couple expensive name brand shoes to help For a while they did. But then, my hammer toe started bothering me and I got a taylor bunion. So podiatrist changed me to barefoot shoes. again high priced. He said I would need insoles for my other issues, as most barefoot shoes dont have proper arch support. I took his advice and got what he prescribed. They seem to work but are expensive..with insole, i took size 6. Over winter, I bought 2 pairs of barefoot boots. No top name brand and good price. Both are fine and with insole size 6 was perfect. I then researched and came across these. Only a few reviews but all 5 stars. So I ordered a size 6 Size guide and reviews said true to size. But these were snug even without insole They looked pretty good and seem to be well made, so i returned and got 6 1/2. Just walked in them and quite comfy. Soooo... if you need insoles, i suggest you go up half size, even if other brands fit with insoles in your regular size ... show more

These are so good. I have a few pair of xero shoes, and I actually prefer these to work and walk in - they have a wider fit for women that Xero doesn't offer.. Hopefully they'll expand the color options, cause I will definitely be buying these again.

These are like a more affordable Xero shoe. I own both. I just got these while on vacation because I forgot to pack my Xero shoes. Very similar and a great barefoot shoe for weightlifting at the gym!
