I was looking for reasonably priced beach shoes to replace a very worn-out pair I bought probably ten or more years ago at a popular drug store. I use these primarily when going to swim at the cottage lake to get over the rough ground to and from the shore and cabin, instead of wearing flip flops. I also use them when I need to do something requiring wading in shallow water, like installing/removing the cabin's water line at the beginning and end of the season, and launching and retrieving my boat. I have so far used these for getting to and from the dock for swimming and they have served that purpose well. The foam sole insert is very comfortable and removes easily for drying and washing. I just washed everything for the first time in the washing machine and they came out just fine, though I line dried the shoes and inserts. The only aspect I could warn future users about is the sizing. I measured my foot and bought the size recommended based on the chart provided and the shoes fit perfectly. The problem is putting them on when my feet are wet, like when getting out after swimming. I wonder if going a half size larger would make them easier to put on when wet. It's not a super big deal, but it is a minor struggle to get the shoes on a wet foot. Overall I am very pleased with these shoes, I was afraid I would have to pay several times more for a pair of this quality. ... show more

Works well in water. Wish half sizes were an option. Had to purchase a size 10 and really needed a 9.5. Occasionally, the shoes slip off my feet when walking in the river.

I have tried many Water shoes & sandals. Always rub tops of my toes raw, and wear out ends of the toes of shoes. Theses fit so nicely, have removable supporting inserts, soft material and the actual out soles are higher over the toe ends and are thicker, more supportive than other cheap thin shoes I've had and tried. ... show more
