I use to wear XX-wide or 6E wide shoes with a wide toe box. But I'd still have a constant painful squeezing around my toes. My big toe joints and pinky toes were still being forced inward even when not walking. I didn't know what I could do to be able to walk pain free. After some research I found Foot Shaped Minimalist shoes. So, I decided to try them. My first pair i ordered, what I thought would fit me. I didn't measure my feet. What i got were to large. So, I gave them to my mother to try. Which happened to fit her perfectly. She is so Happy to no longer have painful swollen feet and ankles at the end of the day. She has decided to order 2 more pairs for herself and toss out the hundred dollars plus shoes that promised pain free feet, but never relieved her pain. My mother is diabetic. I got her toe socks with her shoes. Before, she was unable to touch her toes due to sharp pain. She has noticed that when she lotions her feet. Her pain is getting less and less as the days go by. I ordered my pair After i took my feet measurements ordered. I absolutely love my shoes. But I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, you also purchase toe socks. So, you can actually use the foot shape of the shoes to best benefit your walk, stability, and as pain free as you can be. I have also told my brother about them. He actually got his pair not long ago. He is enjoying them. He also had the same problem as myself with finding shoes that are wide enough around the toes. I got a pair for my husband. He is in the beginning stages of getting a bunion. He has stated. That he keeps forgetting he even has shoes on. The kids are next on the list to Foot Shaped Minimalist shoes. After watching a YouTube video about the health benifits of barefoot shoes I decided to buy an all black pair for work. So far I am loving them! They are very light weight and the material on the bottom is a good quality rubber. They squeak like basketball shoes when running around which is a testament to how good they grip the floor. People complaining about them being too thin are just being snobbish. That is why they call them barefoot shoes. You're not supposed to hike in them or walk on jagged objects. I would not recommend that. Thats what hiking shoes were made for. I can already feel my hammer toe on my right foot stretching out. It feels sore but that just means they are working as intended. Great shoes 5 out of 5 for me. Will be buying a gray pair. The only thing I have to complain about is the shipping was very late and I needed these for work.

I have wide feet and have been looking for good fitting shoes for a while now. I typically have only bought Clarks previously, as they have a good variety of Wide shoes and their shoes were very comfortable. Last few years, Clarks designs have not been good and some of their wide shoes were not comfortable. My son turned me onto wide toe box shoes and I researched on Amazon and settled on Whitin. Cannot say enough good things about these shoes. They are so comfortable - feels like you are walking around in your favorite comfy slippers. There is some support however I use an insole anyway due to Plantar Fasciitis. I used these on my vacation and walked for miles and it just felt so good. No chafing, no aching - just pure comfort.

I have wide feet and normally buy zero drop style shoes as they tend to be sized to fit real feet. These shoes do not disappoint, I wore them all day Sat, without even breaking them in. I was walking around a car show and these were perfect and comfortable. They have a small amount of cushion and they fit my wide feet very well. I will be buying additional colors of these as they fit very well and are comfortable for all day wear. Also they price is half of what I normally pay for other styles.

I was surprised at how much I liked these shoes. It feels like I'm walking barefoot and the first couple of days seemed to work parts of my legs and feet as I could really feel it. My feet feel like they have opened up and I can now notice how cramped my other shoes are. I don't feel like they are as versatile as tennis shoes as I couldn't see myself wearing these in every situation. I also don't feel like they will last as long as a tennis shoe though they seem priced appropriately to offset this. The biggest con I would mention is that I sound like a duck when I walk on hard floors: "Flap...Flap..", the lack of cushion is also felt in the rest of my body but it is no worse than if I were walking barefoot. These won't replace my tennis shoes but I find myself wearing them more and more and I may even be starting to prefer them. This feels like a much more natural way of walking and I feel like I'm giving my feet a bit of a break from all the strenuous things I put them through when wearing them.

After noticing the outside of my pinky and big toes hurt after walking miles and miles, I was looking for some wider shoes. These fit the bill and seemed like a solid price for a minimalistic shoe. After wearing them for a week they were so damn comfy I didn't want to go back to normal shoes. I then proceeded to wear these shoes everyday for the past 7 months doing every activity from hiking to sports. The flat smooth bottom is not ideal for most hard activities, but you can make due. About month 5 I noticed the heel section was wearing down quickly in the bottom and on the sides. This creates tiny little plastic "rocks" that you will need to empty out of your shoe daily. I will still wear these shoes for a bit but I'm going to try the cross trainer and hopefully they will last a bit longer.

By far the most comfortable shoes I own. Easy on and off, but don’t slide off. Very light. Very flexible. Plenty of room for my wide feet. I wear these to the gym when I’m not going to run, and often on days after long runs when I want maximum comfort for my feet. I changed the laces to a grayish color and it makes the shoe look better in my opinion. I tried a pair of the canvas but returned them. They were very stiff unlike these, which are super flexible and move how my feet want them to.
