ORIGINAL REVIEW: April 20, 2024 I've had these for a couple of weeks now. Pros: - The shoes is very well made, very high quality. - The Canvas seems to be just the right thickness. Not too thin or heavy. - Weight is good for the price. - Shoe box is good - toes are not cramped, but I have been wearing traditional, western shoes, so my toes are formed to them. - Zero Drop seems good. - They have nice padding on the inside, but some may consider this to be a "Con". Cons: - Soles are fairly flexible, but maybe not as much as some of the more expensive Barefoot shoes. These probably aren't the best Zero Drop, Barefoot, shoes on the market, but they may be at this price. =============================== UPDATE: April 11, 2025 I've had 2 pairs of these for a year. I wear one pair in the house and the other pair when I go out. Last year I averaged 6 miles of walking per day. That was almost 5 Million steps! (4.9M to be exact) Both pairs are holding-up well and still look great - I don't see any noticeable wear. I walk mainly on sidewalks and going to stores. And I haven't noticed any popping or squeaking sounds that others have mentioned. ... show more

I am into my first month of this shoe. It is one of the first 2 types I am trying as I attempt to transition to the Zero-Lift/Drop style of shoe. I chose this brand for its good price (at the time, in the $30-40 range). YEAHS: ***FIT > Fits my extra wide foot well. Company made it easier for me to determin which of their sizes I should try. That said, it took 3 tries to get the correct and most comfortable fit. ***APPEARENCE > Looks nice. Obviously has a larger toe box ("DAH!" to all of those reviews of this type of shoe that failed to do your most basic research into what these shoes are like!), but it does not look "clown-like." Easy to get on and off. Easy to tie. Good feel of the ground with no insert, while using the insert (and loosening up my laces just a bit more) gives me the same relative feel + a little more cushion. ***FEEL/FLEX > Feels nice. Very flexible and I feel the ground well with them as I walk. ***WEIGHT > VERY lightweight; making my "normal" shoes feel like boots! NEAS: ***NOISE > Yup - it squeeks if you slip it along certain floors! ***APPEARENCE > If you do not adjust the tounge corretly, it looks "creased" on the top of the toe box. ***DURABILITY > Not yet determined, but so far seems to be doing okay in the initial phases of wear (More to come on that later on). ... show more

Fantastic for an entry level barefoot shoe - good quality, pretty durable, does the job. It's obviously not perfect, the sole grip could be better. And the design is kinda uggo, but it does the job and makes me feel safe enough when I lift.

I bought these for doing squats and deadlifts at the gym. They are fantastic for this purpose! They are wide enough to feel comfortable at the bottom of a squat, but not so loose that they flop around on me. They are thin enough on the bottom that I can definitely feel the floor when driving through; I wouldn't do a lot of long distance running. They seem well constructed and have put up with my workouts over the last few months. Once my current pair wears out, I'll try to get these again. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I originally wanted these as a different form of Splays. I was not impressed. I have destroyed them in 4 months. As a daily driver they will not last 7 months. Flexibility: They are flexible. A zero drop. I can feel the ground Beneath me. Functionality: They aren’t very functional if you are wanting a shoe that last 400 miles or 1 year. If you are looking for a shoe that looks stylish for a year they aren’t great either. Good product quality for the price so far. Made in China. Moderate nonslip. Comfortable. Lightweight. Correct sizing. I wear 13 US MEN and they fit. Nothing unexpected. They aren’t like walking on pillows or anything like that, nor are they marketed that way. Keep in mind this product is not a mystical miracle wonder shoe. It won’t solve all your feet problems, or make you a better person, or fix your broken marriage. If you buy this product you will still be the same “you” you were before, but with more space for your toes. I ordered black / gum. I wanted to address some other reviews floating around that the top of the shoe bunches when you tighten the laces. If this happens to you with this shoe (or any other shoe) try keeping your bottom laces a bit more loose and a little tighter towards the top. Your foot will also thank you. I was skeptical, but son loves these! He said these were more comfortable than his $190 shoes we bought last year. They are thin, meant for lifting and serve their purpose well. So far no stink so breathable and durable too! Size is true and he mentions no slipping when he lifts so a great buy.
