I needed a new every-day shoe to beat around town, but didn't want to spend a lot. I usually wear a 10.5 in most shoes, have somewhere between a 3E and 4E wide foot, plus a high instep while also being flat footed. These didn't come in half sizes above 9.5, so I went with the size 11. It fit me 90% well. Not perfect but close. The length was good, the toe box was roomy, my instep was comfortable, however I feel a slight bit of tightness on the sides of my midfoot (I wear these with socks). After 5 to 10 minutes I don't even think about it. Oh, and also there isnt arch support, which is great for my foot shape. These have been my "around-town beaters", and primary gym shoes for a year. I've gone on plenty of walks in these, and have racked up some miles. I am super impressed with them and how they've held up. They've been pretty comfy this whole time with good padding around the ankle, The sole is still going strong, with just the usual wear. Nothing is wearing through on the sole or upper...and all the sewing and glued areas of the shoe remain in good condition. I could get another year out of these shoes easily. I would definitely say buy these. Even if you are unsure, buy them because for the price, as you don't lose much if you don't love them. I've been buying barefoot shoes for a few years, and it's nice to have some cheaper options when compared to the usual popular "name brands". I gotta give Whitin credit for showing me that cheap barefoot shoes are available and punch above their weight. I am very pleased. ... show more

Love these shoes. Hard to beat for the price. I have been looking for another brand of Barefoot style shoes and these are just what I needed. I like the brown color with a hint of orange. They look nice and are very comfortable with a wide front. I will buy again.

Very comfortable shoes. Wide in the front is a plus however would have been good to have them slip-in. However due ro the material I think it wouldn’t be possible. However, they’re very nice shoes to walk around the house and work from home and even go out.

Nice shoes. I decided against them because they came up too high on the top of my foot where the laces are tied. This is fairly typical of men’s shoes. As a woman with size 12 shoes I often have to wear men’s shoes. The color was really nice and they seemed well made.

I love these shoes so much. I thought I was going to have sore feet being that I'm not used to barefoot style shoes, but so far after months of using them as my every day shoe, nope. If anything I have less foot pain using these than I have with any of my other shoes. I have been wearing "barefoot" and minimalist shoes for many years now. I have tried a few of the major brands, all of which tend to be pretty expensive. But they always looked so much better than the cheap ones available on Amazon. This shoe changes that. I love the look of these shoes! Yes, they are foot shaped (as they should be) and wide. But they really capture the look of a shoe. Not like the modern athletic shoes that look like flashy space ships but rather the simpler ones from when I was a bit younger. It is a classic look with a minimalist twist. Now, notice I keep using the word "minimalist". I wouldn't consider these to be "barefoot" shoes. They have a bit too much cushioning for that, especially in the sole. But you also don't feel like you are walking on a spring like with Crocs or some Altras I have tried. I would say my foot stays stable in it but there's too much cushion to say there's real "ground feel". There is a removable insole and the foot bed is made such that you can wear these without the insole. This is how I wear them. In fact I don't know that I even tried them with the insole in. As for the fit, I have a pretty high arch and so my feet have a lot of girth that makes many shoes too tight at the bottom of the laces. I don't have that problem with these shoes. They fit my feet GREAT! So far, they are holding up well and have not become worn looking quickly like my canvas Whitins did. I am very pleased so far and I think I will buy these again when they wear out. ... show more
