Will the actual color match the photos online? Photos are shot in natural daylight, but screen settings vary and slight differences may occur. If color accuracy is critical, order one roll first to check the exact shade before committing to a full project. Can I install these directly over my existing tile or old vinyl floor? Yes, if the surface is flat, clean, and dry. Deep grout lines or heavy texture may telegraph through over time. For best results, fill grout lines with a floor leveler or use a thin underlayment for a smooth base. Will the edges start curling or lifting after a few months? Curling is usually from poor surface prep or temperature changes. Our high-tack adhesive bonds well when applied correctly. Clean and dry the subfloor thoroughly, and press edges firmly with a J-roller after laying each tile. Do these tiles shrink or expand when the temperature changes? Slight expansion in warmth and contraction in cold is normal for vinyl. Let the rolls acclimate in the installation room for at least 24 hours before laying — this minimizes shifting after installation. How many rolls do I need? Is there a formula for calculating coverage? Multiply length × width for square footage, then add 10% for cutting waste (15% for irregular layouts). Divide by the coverage per roll listed in the product description and round up. Always better to have a little extra!
