I can't speak for other colors but this kit worked perfectly for my white leather sofa. There was a wide range of whites and off-whites to choose from in the kit. I did the entire couch with only one of the tubes and had some left over and I had A LOT of scratches to cover. The tiny openings in the tubes work great because you can squeeze the tiny amount you need for each scratch, without exposing the rest of the STUFF (is this paint?) to air so you don't have to worry about drying it out. I used a tiny brush but found you don't have to be super precise, just take an old credit card after laying down the STUFF and swipe it over the scratch horizontally. That cleans off the extra without removing the STUFF in the recess of the scratch. Hopefully the fix will last, I'll update this review if it doesn't. (The after photo shows how good the cushion looks with only one coat. There were a few deep scratches that I have yet to put a second coat on.) ... show more

While this seems like a good product we found it impossible to match the color we needed. Ended up taking a sample piece of upholstery to Home Depot and got an exact match there. And it actually worked for our needs.

nice set to help repair light colored leather more appropriate for smooth leather as there is nothing to included to imprint leather grain into the repair mixing to match the shade of leather is easier said than done. good luck.

There exists leather repair compound, but this isn't it. It can't be molded into the shape of the hole, it just dries flat. It can kinda hide holes from far away, but that's not that helpful.

The gel remains as flexible as the surrounding material when it dries, and adheres very well to both natural leather and vinyl, as far as I have tried it. Matching the color is an art though, and it took me a lot of try and err. It looks like there is little to no change to the color as it dries, so if you are lucky when mixing this it will stay at that color when it settles. The appearance though is just flat, and for the consistence of the gel I doubt there is a way to ensure similar texture as the rest of the material: too fluid at first, and as it starts curing it cannot be reshaped. Most apparent on larger spots, by contrast in sheen, but also noticeable on rip lines repairs on a close look. So, not perfect, still a good fix to add years of usage to expensive leather items. ... show more
