Just what we needed. A bit concerned with the center cut in the support struts but, so far, it is working fine.

    • A good value option
As a value/budget option for home decor, this works great. The shelf assembles as pictured and is sturdy enough against the wall to hold books and other relatively heavy items. Side note: I used command strips on the back of the top two shelves to secure it to the wall rather than use the included hardware to screw it into the wall. It's sturdy enough for my cat to play on. The wood is particle board and fragile. One small trim piece for the back of a shelf was broken in half upon arrival. After assembling everything the pieces held together just fine and you can't event tell they were broken. The bottom shelf if not level and has a noticeable tilt forward. The second shelf up is tilted back the opposite way. The rest of the shelves are level and all of them can hold movies, books, etc. If you're like me and this is a single use item in my current apartment that I don't plan on taking with me, its a great value. Perfect for a year or two of use in a space that needs minimal footprint furniture. However, if you are decorating a nicer home or plan to have this self in a central location for all to see I would invest in a higher quality item that's a little more substantial and stylish. And lastly, if you're using this to hold electronics (like cable boxes, modems, etc) than you'll hate that there's no good way to hide the cords. ... show more

This product was easy to assemble and looks great. I've moved it up and downstairs several times. It's held toiletries and towels as well as loaded up with heavy books on each shelf for the past 2 years. I'm only now writing a review because I came back to read the specs to see about anchoring it to the wall for my daughter to have (she has cats) and read so many negative reviews. The shelves do tilt when pressure is applied (pumping lotion out of bottle) so I just keep the shelve load weight evenly distributed. I would gladly buy this product again. ... show more
