All of my Critters immediately become excited when they see the package. It takes two if you have some heavy eaters. I use it as a reward/ moist snack. Most importantly what comes out of them doesn't stink as bad as other wet types of food with a lot of processing. You can physically look at this and tell that it's made with real chicken, when you open it it smells like chicken. Other cat foods when you open them there is no sense of appeal to us humans. So if it doesn't smell good to us it must not smell good to them whose nose is are dozens of times more sensitive than ours. My cat is obsessed with this food. He cannot even go a day without at least eating one or two of these packages although it is terribly stinky, he loves it. My cat is an indoor outdoor cat and he is extremely skinny from hunting all night every night. So I don’t have to worry about him over eating or getting too much of anything. I have a senior cat that has a difficult time eating most cat foods. Dry foods never get chewed up all the way so she often yacks it up. Same goes for chunky wet foods. Although I had some good luck with pates, I eventually had issues with her yacking up pates from both Friskies and Fancy Feast. She liked them but they didn't sit right in her tummy. Added gravy or not, it didn't matter. Yack. This stuff is working for her though. She never yacks it up and also never seems to get tired of it. When she knows it's coming out of the cupboard she visibly gets excited about it. At 16 years of age, that's nice to see. I tend to crush and smash up the bag a little before opening it to get rid of the smaller chunks inside. She's a relatively small adult cat and she eats about three of these 3oz. bags per day. ... show more

It is kind of weird (maybe for me) to go through the review highlights and find that the vendor asks to rate the FLAVOR. Honestly, I never dare taste cat (dog) food so I cannot rate this part at all. I think it tastes good because my cat loves it???? Anyways, for my cat size, each pack are little small however, I do like the texture of the food itself - not dry and not too soupy. It is perfect consistency. Knowing that each pack may not be enough for one meal, what I do is mix it with dry food. I noticed that if I just give my cat one pouch by itself, he seems to want more. I only bought this because the the vendor on island that normally sells the Whiskas prime cut pouches have not been brining it in for quite some time now. We are told the prime cuts are out from I guess the Whiskas company. I find this true because I could not find the prime cuts on Amazon - only these ones. So, it works for now - mix it with dry food and it will make one pouch worth a meal. I do have to say these are a little pricey considering the amount per pouch but overall, great choice for my cat. ... show more

I have 3 picky cats. This product is the only one they will eat. One cat has a sensitive stomach and he doesn't vomit this food. I used to be able to find it in stores but not for a very long time now. I can only get it through Amazon.
