This comes in a shrink wrapped package and I was worried when the comforter laid out flat like a pancake. I saw people recommend putting it in the dryer - all I did was lay it out for a day and it gradually fluffed up. Day 3 and each square is fluffy like a cloud! It’s well made, durable, soft, keeping me cool in the summer but I can tell it’ll keep me warm in the winter. Worth the purchase ... show more

From other reviews, I thought this would be even heavier than it was, but for this type of insert it definitely had a nice amount of weight. It is very comfortable and looks fully fluffed and attractive with a duvet cover.

this is hands-down my most favorite blanket. sleeping or lounging on the couch feels very comfortable in it. i don't understand the shedding problems other reviewers have-- did you accidentally open the box with a cutter and puncture it? it sheds a little bit, but i don't get the problem of having feathers poke you either. there is a bit of crinkle but i've had other down comforters that crinkle too so it's not a problem for me at all. ... show more

Let me start by saying it was well worth what I paid for it however it as not fluffy and airy as the picture in the description depicts. This is not a 4 season duvet. Winter only. It is very heavy, the cover fabric is crispy and too stiff to be soft and it does not breath and It's noisy but it is very heavy and warm. It comes with corner ties which were thready to tie to a cover because it was vacuum packed it took a few days to reach its full potential. It came flat but I gave it the wave shake from all sides and corners and the put it in a cool dryer for 30 minutes or so which fluffed it in the middle quite a bit leaving the edges still sort of flat. I've had it on my bed inside a light cotton cover for 4 days now and I give it the wave shake every days which plumped up the edges. Break down. It was worth what I paid for it and I'm not sorry about that at all. So... It is not light and fluffy, it doesn't breath and it's very heavy and is great for the winter. ... show more
