As you can see in the photo this box at its widest is only about 12 1/2 inches wide. I bought it specifically for a hammer that is thirteen inches long so I could not use this box for the intended purpose. Also quite flimsy.

I purchased this tool box to use as an Evidence Kit for law enforcement purposes. I have purchased other toolboxes in the past that were too large and cumbersome. In this professional field, you want to keep your gear as light weight and condensed as possible due to the amount of different items you need to have on hand for this job. This tool box is perfect for that. This tool box would be great to use for what it's actually intended to be used for: Tools; however it's a pretty small box but would be great for the most basic items such as a hammer, a few different screwdrivers, a wrench, a tape measure, etc that are needed in a quick pinch for small jobs.
