Okay - I have done the full research/sizing/returning rigamaroll on these boots. They are gorgeous. As a horse person, no, they are so so far from a cowboy boot- but as a fashion person, they have a beautiful shape and structure to them and the overall "leather" doesn't lean too heavily on the fake-y side. Zero percent true to size...not sure what other comments are on about. Usually wear an 8.5 in shoes, and it's hit or miss if I have to size down. The measurement chart provided with these would've had me wearing almost a 10 based on foot length! I ordered the 8.5 and when they arrived, they fit like a 9.5 or even bigger. I have wider feet, and there was so much room in the toe that I could push the leather down and indent without putting pressure on my toe. With a decent sock! I absolutely adored the toe shape - it narrows enough to give a bit of a snip effect, but isn't crunching the toe area. I reordered in an 8 to compare - and when they arrived (I am in Canada and so it's a whole shebang to order and recieve) THEY WERE EVIDENTLY WELL WORN. The bottoms were scuffed horrendously, and there was chunks missing out of the heel, drippy stains on the front. And a black hair coiling into the scuffed heel block. Nasty. Someone lived out their rodeo fantasy in them. I still tried them on and I likely would have stopped there and been fine with the 8 had it not been so gross, and for us Canadians these are $100 boots, not $60 or so. Decided that since I'm returning anyways, and they were still a smidge big, I would get a 7.5. Ordered the darker chestnut brown as well because why not, i know the return process now. Now have both in my possession and the other sizes returned and I'm at a cross roads on whether to keep both. Really love them!! The 7.5 fit in the brown(lighter caramel one) is a bit wider I would say. The chestnut ones are narrower and I can feel a bit more of a squeeze around the width of my foot, but not unbearable. The chestnut ones also do not have a zipper - which I prefer as it looks a little less cheapy in my opinion. Calf width is nice on both, I'm around a 13inch calf and I'm not having any issues - have a bit of room around the sides. Wearing one of each as I type this and I think I might be keeping both!! The company has been great with returns (though the refunds haven't come through yet) and they sent me a UPS label and I didn't have to pay extra even from another country. Maybe some people like a lot of extra room in their boots, but the 8.5s were large enough that it felt like a clown shoe a bit. I'd recommend them to anyone who like a bit of western flair without going all out! Can't speak to the wear yet. This is the review I wish I could've read before purchasing!

I can’t believe how much I love these boots!! I live in Houston, TX and have been involved with the Houston Rodeo for many years so despite being city/suburb girl, I have lots of boots. Some that I’ve spent hundreds of dollars on. While these aren’t leather and probably won’t last like those will, they are soooo cute! They’re also comfy and stylish and were, in my opinion, a great value for the money spent!! I might opt for genuine leather boots in the summer for their breathability, but I will get a lot of wear out of these nonetheless!! I was very skeptical given my more expensive boot collection, but I definitely wouldn’t hesitate to buy more from this brand. I wore them to the rodeo with my husband and kids and walked all over the place in them for hours (about 15k steps) and my feet were barely even sore at the end of the night. Love the higher heel. I ordered my normal size , 9.5 (I usually size up half a size in boots), and my normal size was a great fit. I will definitely look closer at this brand for my daughters who still have feet that are growing but love wearing boots with dresses and skirts.

These are the CUTEST cowboy boots ever! They hold up well and the heels give it enough height to dress up or dress down. I also like the fact the toe is round/squared and not pointy. I normally wear size 8.5, but I went down to an 8 because my foot is narrow and it fit perfect! I'm going to buy it in other colors! I saw some people mentioned the issue of no zipper and trying to slide your foot and leg in, but honestly, it wasn't a problem for me, but then again my legs and foot are slim. For reference I'm 5'6", 130lbs, size 4.
