For the VALUE, these are excellent boots. The 7, for me, fit TRUE TO SIZE. (I wear a 7 but often get a 7.5 when buying online. I didn’t do that here and was glad.) The first time out, I wore them 5 hours COMFORTABLY, with no problems at all. (I purchased them for a western themed girls’ night.) The “leather” is soft without being too flimsy or unstructured, and flexible when walking. As mentioned in one review, one of the pull straps rubbed my opposite leg when I first tried them on, but I never noticed that on the night I wore them. I love a tall boot and have long legs for my height, so compared to some reviewers, I’d have liked them an inch or so taller. I would definitely call these knee-high, though (and not the calf-high boots most brands sell as knee-high.) I have athletic, slim legs, with a muscular calf, and the width at calf-height was perfect - tight enough to look attractive but just loose enough not to pull or bunch when I moved. IMO, these are definitely not for wide calves The black is a true black and the white stitching looks great. I have no idea what the durability would be, but I bought them for their style, not their sturdiness. I personally don’t think these boots look expensive, but not “cheap”, either. For the price point of the product, you would be shocked how high quality they are! I bought these boots for a western/cowboy themed wedding, and they fit perfectly! I was able to line dance comfortably, and they looked stellar with my outfit!

I went to Cowboy Carter- ATL in these and my feet were surprisingly FINE after a full evening/night of Beyonce, dancing, bucking, and walking. The color and quality are amazing and accurate to the picture.
