I received this broken straight out of the package. I tried it a little on my hand to see if I wanted to buy another; color was good, but this was super hard to apply. Maybe mine was a dud, but it was very waxy, not creamy or moisturizing at all. Also very difficult to remove, I had to use dish soap and a scrubby sponge more than once to get it off. ... show more

The shade used in the photo to advertise appears as a greige (grey-toned beige) with perhaps even slight hints of a pinkish-brown undertone. The Graveyard shade in reality is nothing like this, but instead is more of a blue-toned grey that appears to have quite a bit of white base when put on the lips. I’m an extremely fair skintone with a decent amount of mauve in my natural lip color, & upon lip application, this almost appeared like a light blue color. I can make it work better/more wearable by placing a darker-toned purple gloss on top, but then that kinda’ defeats the purpose of wearing a matte lipstick. The lipstick itself is a nice creamy, non-drying matte formula. It’s just a shame that the color is nothing like the advertising photo & that I have to use additional lip products to compensate for the otherwise unflattering color. Apparently, I’m not the only one with this issue. In my swatch photos, I included one with a brown washcloth in the background so that one can more clearly see that there is absolutely no brown or greige tone to this lipstick.
