Love this product! Although it is not inexpensive it is also not cheap. I live in a humid state with a home in the city on water with trees around and a home on the coast. Years of power washing... omg SO OVER IT! I heard of this product and asked a contractor, he said yes, he knows of it being good for roofs, so I purchased some last summer. I have used it on my concrete pool deck, driveway and sidewalks, my wooden deck, on my brick home, yes, worked on all of the surfaces. I have a screened in porch on the coast that has vinal windows that were so cloudy and had a green alga on the bottom panels that I was at a loss as to how to get them clean. It is not recommended using a window cleaner on them. I removed one window to do a test spot rubbing it on with a spray bottle containing diluted Wet and Forget in it, and immediately wiping it off. The vinal windows are so clean you can't even tell they are there. I rejoice my pressure washing days are behind me!!!! Of course, there are variables and as with any product like this read and follow the directions. I hope this review helps someone on the fence about trying Wet and Forget.

I have used Wet & Forget for years. I have found on things like my shutters and eaves it keeps them clean longer than bleach or pressure washing. If you have never used it before it can be frustrating to not see instant results, but if it is mildew, moss, or algae, this stuff will make it go away. I have found green algae is gone within a day but mildew can take weeks to fade. The nice thing is that it keeps working though and keeps it away longer. I ordered this "xtreme" reach version instead of my typical pump sprayer kind because I had some spots on the roof and also a shade sail that was turning green. This hose end sprayer easily reached across my entire 12x16 shade sail and up onto my roof valley. This also is good for places where you need to lay the product on really heavy. A pump sprayer takes a lot of time to do larger areas. The stuff is more expensive than bleach but I have found it works for longer and is also nicer to my patio covers and other fabrics since there is no bleach involved. My shade sail dripped all the excess straight onto my covered patio furniture with no ill effects. Overall I am happy with this new hose-end version and it can definitely speed up large area coverage or reach much higher than a pump sprayer can.

I have a tile roof and it needs to be cleaned. At the advice of a roof cleaning contractor, he suggested that I should do a soft wash. Instead of a water pressure cleaning. I went looking for a soft cleaning product at Amazon and this product was highly recommended. I purchased the two gallons and the two garden hose bottles. I followed the instructions and sprayed the roof. It’s been more than two months and I haven’t seen any progress on the cleaning properties that this product claims it has. While reading the instructions, it says that it could take more than ten months for this product to work. When I wanted to clean up the roof it was because it looks really dirty with dirt and mold. So I would like it to be cleaned out in a timely manner, not to wait until next year to see if this product works. Right now I feel that I wasted my money.

I sprayed it heavily on my side walk that needed a little cleaning up. Instead of using the powerwasher, I decided to try this product. I expected it to work for $30+ dollars. Maybe its works better after you powerwash?

We have had an issue with the siding on our house developing green and some black type algae on the front side so I was super happy to come across this product. Our siding has been painted by previous owners and power washing it has caused some areas to flake off so I’m glad to have something like this that you simply spray on and wait for it to do it’s job. It’s recommended to use when temps are above 55° with no rain expected for at least 4-5 hours. I just sprayed this on so I can’t yet say how well it will work but I’ll definitely update. This states to show results in 1-2 weeks for average cleaning, several months for black/stubborn stains and 6-12 months for more established stains. One bottle says it will treat up to 2,000 sq. feet so I should be able to get at least 2 applications from this. It’s a bit pricey but if it does the job it states I feel it’s well worth it. Again, I’ll have to update our results as this isn’t an immediate remedy but giving 5 stars for now for ease of application and clear instructions on the bottle on how to use it.

One side of our roof has some trees which block it from getting sun most of the day. So green moss grows, and it gets pretty thick. Usually I brush it off and then apply a mix of oxy bleach and water, and brush it off again. It works, but it’s a lot of elbow grease. This time I tried the ‘Wet & Forget Outdoor Moss, Mold, Mildew, & Algae Stain Remover.’ At first I was a little disappointed, because I didn’t see much effect at all after a few weeks. I kind of forgot about it. A few months later I noticed that most of the moss was gone, and I didn’t even have to brush it off. There’s still a few residual spots, but that may be places where I didn’t spray very well. Even those are not green, so the moss looks dead. I’m a little hesitant to spray it near plants, even with a pre-rinse, so I didn’t try it on the walkway, but I may use it on the stone patio next. If you’re willing to wait for results, it does save a lot of time. The hose end attachment makes it much easier to use than having to mix and use an separate unit.

Simple mold on the shaded side of the house on the second level...it did nothing without being able to scrub the area which was the reason I had hoped it worked. Didnt do anything, sad. Look elsewhere for your needs.
