I have several cement and flagstone areas in my back yard. Up until now I've been using an electric power washer to clean it. I would spend a day and a half to two days and still not get it as clean as I wanted it to be. My electric power washer died, so I decided to get a gas powered unit. Because of the great reviews I chose this Westinghouse WPX3400, which I ordered from Amazon. It arrived on time and undamaged. Within a half hour, I had it out of the box, assembled, filled with oil, fresh gas, and connected to the water supply. Use caution when filling with oil, monitor the dip stick closely there is more oil in the bottle than you need. Do not overfill the engine. Next I turned on the water, set the on/off switch to the on position, turned the fuel on and set the choke to full on. I pulled the recoil starter rope twice. It started on the second pull, I was amazed it started so guickly. I used it for about an hour to wash mud off of a 21' x22' patio and 60' of walkway. It works great, why didn't I buy this years ago? Here's some good advice for your small engines. Always use premium high obtain fuel mixed with a good brand of stabilizer. This will keep your fuel good for a year. I use it for all of my small engines it saves me a lot of time and money, and my small engines always start easily. I am very pleased with my new pressure washer so far. Remember to change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, and every 50 hours after that. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I was UNPLEASANTLY surprised to discover how small the unit was when I first took it out of the box. I thought there could be no way such a small pressure washer could produce enough pressure to get the ground-in dirt off my very dirty driveway.... But then I realized it has 50 PSI MORE than the 2000 Karcher I have owned for the past 3 years -- which has been stored in my garage, and used THREE times for my once annual 'make-the-HOA-happy' cleaning before it stopped working. When I took the Karcher out recently, it tripped (and shut off) again, and again, and again, beginning with my FIRST attempt!! So that tells me there is some sort of leak inside the old machine. This Westinghouse has raised the bar in my mind, and I'm glad I chose it as a replacement. PROS: 1. Has 365-turning wheels with locks. 2. Was VERY easy to set up. 3. Has individual storage 'holes' in the back of the unit, for holding the 4 nozzle options. (I found the green one to work the best for my driveway.) 4. It has a single 'hook' on the back, to hanging the wrapped-up electrical cord when not the machine is not in use. 5. Works very well with the provided gun and nozzles. 6. Does not tip over when pulling it around from one area of my driveway to another. 7. The off-white hose (attached to the front of the pressure washer, and to the sprayer/wand) is SUPER long, which is a HUGE plus because it meant I didn't have to run out to buy a new 100 ft water hose for attachment to the backside of the machine, for use once per year. CONS: 1. The machine was not powerful enough to use with either of the TWO brand new surface cleaners I tried using. The sprayer bar on one of the surface cleaners did spray out water, but not enough to make the bar spin... making the entire attachment useless. When I tried the second surface cleaner attachment (which was a different brand than the first), the sprayer bar spun, but slowly. The pressure created by the machine simply was NOT strong enough to do anything more than create scattered 'zebra lines' on the concrete. It was at that point that I realized I was going to have to do the job 'the old fashioned' and more time-consuming way... with the wand alone. So if you plan on using this pressure washer with a surface cleaner, be sure it specifies it will function properly with 'just' 2050 PSI. 2. Although I do love the length of the included pressure hose (and white one in pics), dealing with it constantly curling up was quite annoying. 3. I could not 'turn the soap off' after placing it inside the machine -- nor can the liquid soap container be removed when you don't want to use any soap. Although that didn't matter in the case of my driveway, it would be an issue if using the machine (with the black nozzle) to wash my car. The soap continues mixing with the water, until it's used up. This will create an issue when I simply want to RINSE the soap off my car. This would be a big oversight in design for an otherwise excellent machine, so I will be the first to admit that perhaps there is a way to control the soap output, and I'm just not seeing it on the machine. (I lost the manual within an hour of opening the box. SMH.) I can't speak as to the longevity of this unit, but so far, I'm impressed overall. ... show more

I am very happy with the power and the overall quality of the pressure washer. I did my research regarding other power washers by reading reviews. Based on my research, I decided to buy the WPX3200 because of the many positive reviews and the reason I needed a power washer. I live in Georgia and we get a lot of pollen in the Spring. Overtime, if this pollen isn’t removed, it turns into a black soot on driveways and walkways. I bought my pressure washer with a 15” surface cleaner attachment. Using the pressure washer with the surface cleaner attachment made the cleaning of my driveway and walkways easy. My surfaces look like new concrete again. I also cleaned my decorative pavers using the 25 degree nozzle. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase! ... show more
