  • Great generator
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
Product came well packaged. Started right up. Easy to put together. Wish battery in these units was a little better. Built very well.

  • Straightforward setup and starts immediately upon testing
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
Setup was easy once the handle was put into place for better maneuverability. I noticed the supplied funnel looked like it could screw into the oil plug, but it was too small to engage the threads. However, it was easy enough to hold in place while adding the oil. The supplied tools are of high quality and were very useful for attaching the feet and wheel bolts. All-in-all, the unit works flawlessly. It started immediately with the push-button, the remote, and the manual pull-start. It was also very quiet even under a half load. My only concern is a gouge on one of the removable side panels that apparently happened during shipping, but this did not affect my acceptance of the order given that inclement weather was approaching. I am now ready for the storm. ... show more

  • Westinghouse Inverter Generator i11000TFc -Just got it! Excited to try it with propane.
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
UPDATE: I had time today, so I added the oil (which came with the unit), connected the battery and connected the propane tank (using the hose that came with the unit) and started her up! LOVE IT! Much quieter than I expected and I love the idea of using propane over gas since propane can be stored indefinitely and is cleaner. Using the remote start and the Start/Stop push button, the unit started up and ran smoothly and quietly. The control panel is easy to navigate. Set up was easy, all necessary tools and oil, as well as a battery charger came with the unit. As a bonus, because I registered the unit, Westinghouse will be sending a cover! Original: This generator was just delivered the other day. I haven't used it yet. I did unbox it and checked for all parts, then I put the stabilizers, wheels and handle on. I'll connect the battery and get it started in the next week, or so, to test it. I am excited to set it up and test it as I've seen good reviews. I'll be running it on propane; I bought two 40-lb tanks and filled them this week. That said, I am a little disappointed in the scratches on the handle, on both sides at the bend. I was pretty careful in unboxing and setting the parts aside (on the Tonneau cap of my pickup). I had a moving blanket and used the styrofoam packaging to protect the generator when I put it on the sides to install the stabilizers and wheels before putting on the handle. I admit I didn't pay too close attention to the handle when I took it out of the styroofoam packaging and put it on the truck cover but I don't see how anything I did would have cause these scratches. After I put the second wheel on, I tilted the generator back up off the blanket and stryofoam and didn't tilt it again before or after I put the handle on. I cut up the box, gathered the paperwork and turned to get the generator to wheel it to its new spot in the garage and that's when I noted the scratches as the light was hitting the handle from a different angle. I wish I had inspected the handle more closely as I walked it from the unboxing area to my truck so I could confirm it arrived that way. I did check the oil and saw that there was some on the dipstick, which I expect from manufacturer testing. It won't affect the performance and, I guess, I'll get some paint to cover the scratches. It may seem petty, but I bought something new and expected it to be without these scratches. ... show more

  • Solid Initial Impression
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
This is a preliminary review after unboxing and setting up the unit. It is big, heavy and bulky. Plan accordingly here. I cut the box open and off. You can set the foam top and the included parts aside and then cut the rest of the box off carefully. I used the pieces of cardboard stacked as a good enough spot to flip the unit on its side to get the feet and first wheel installed. The wheel went on easily and tightened up with the very nicely included 22/24mm offset box wrench. The first foot didn’t fit as nicely as I would expect and upon inspection, the recess in the base of the unit was slightly misshapen by what appeared to be a few welds of the lower frame. I shaved the plastic edge of the foot and test fit until it sat flush. After that I flipped it to the opposite side and installed the final wheel. Now you can flip it upright and install the handle which was extremely simple. Remove the side panel on the pull start side and fill engine oil. Check level and replace panel. At this point I attached the supplied battery charger and sat down to read the manual. I have not run the unit at this time and will update after the initial test run. So far I’m satisfied with the quality of this unit. ... show more

  • Before starting the generator, follow the instructions in the manual. Before starting the generator, follow the instructions in the manual.
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
Excellent, very powerful generator with three fuel options: gasoline, natural gas, and propane. I've only tested it with propane from my grill, and it was able to charge my 2022 Tesla Model Y, which can handle up to 32 amps at 220 volts. It easily powers my entire house. It's very quiet, and the inverter system allows me to save energy based on demand. It's much quieter than a conventional generator. My wife was able to start it with the remote control—very easy. I highly recommend it. ... show more

  • Easy assembly
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
Just got it but seems very well built. Quieter than i was expecting, about the same as our riding lawnmower on the lowest speed setting. Assembly took minutes, can be done alone if you're comfortable lifting about 60 pounds. You don't have to actually lift it just roll it over but it's heavy. I paid the extra $20 for the "room of choice" delivery which was well worth it for me and my bad back. Started right up using propane. Folks if this is your first generator then for heavens sake take the time to read and understand and follow the directions. RTFM. It's worth it with something like this. Update a couple months in. Still haven't used it for real, but I've fired it up several times for tests and I've learned that the quick start battery does not stay charged. The instructions say to unhook the battery but it's behind a cover and not super easy to get to. For my tests I've just plugged the battery charger in for a few minutes but that might not be possible in an emergency, so my backup plan is to charge the quick start battery using my portable GoalZero battery/generator. Basically using a battery to recharge the battery to start the generator. Could always use the pull handle i guess but what fun would that be? ... show more

  • Not for daily use!
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
Do not by this generator if you're planning to use it on a daily basis ( food truck ). We had it for 8 months and it died. Upon delivering it to an approved maintenance shop we found out that it's not made for daily use. It would overheat and shut down often in spite of having the correct oil level and having a recent oil change. It was recommended by other food truck owners but the maintenance shop mechanic explained it's not made for daily use. If you don't stay on top of charging the battery once a month it will die. Needless to say when it came time to have the warranty work done we're going to be waiting about 2 weeks before it's completed. We can't wait that long and are purchasing a standby Mobile generator for a food truck. ... show more

  • Very guiet for the size of generator it is. Runs Great, handles all 3 AC units on my RV.
Style: 12000 Watts Inverter - Tri Fuel
Shipped very fast. I have only started and tested this generator as of this writing. It is very quiet for the size of generator it is. I also have the 5000W Westinghouse generator and surprisingly this generator seems as quiet as the one less that half its size. I tested it on my RV with all three AC units running and it handled it just fine. I have not tested it at higher elevations yet and I have only run it on gasoline. So far it is amazing. I give it 5 starts to this point. If that changes I will add notes later, but I would highly recommend this generator. If it has any drawback it would be that it is very heavy. But that just goes with the fact that it is an 11000 W generator. ... show more
