Was worried about the set up on this Inverter/Generator, but it was very easy to set up. After adding oil with the supplied funnel and oil, I hooked up an LP tank I had in storage and it started right up with the supplied remote control. Was impressed with how quiet it is compared to and old generator we have had for 15 plus years. With it being such a large unit it is fairly easy to maneuver around. The included tool kit is a plus and very helpful when needed. Instructions on set up and running are very clear. I really like the battery charging cord which makes it so easy to just plug in and charge. I also like the dual fuel feature on it as it will give us plenty of options if we need to use it for a prolonged time. I would recommend this product and right now I am not disappointed with our purchase! ... show more

Got this ahead of storm season to back up our home, just in case. We had a smaller 5000w but it just wasn't enough. Setup was dead simple and took about 20 minutes including the unboxing....it IS heavy though, so have help. Started right up after first attempt and runs very well. I haven't had it long enough to do extensive testing but will report back if I have any issues. The only complaint I could lodge would be insanely minor....the zip ties inside all have long, sharp tails, someone at the factory is either lazy or thinks they're funny. A pair of flush cutters took care of them quickly. Shouldn't be an issue since an owner wouldn't be inside the unit often, but for oil changes or initial add, they could scrape you. ... show more

Well built inverter generator that produces the power it claims. I run it off propane and it is quiet and efficient. I have not owned it long enough to speak to the batter life, but it holds a charge and starts right up. The design is compact and good looking as far as generators go. I found it easy to use and would be able to explain to someone else how to get it going if I were not around. I purchased this because I need clean electric power due to electronics in the house and the price was better than other options. Just got my new ecoGen 10000. Got the box in good shape, setting up was not a big deal, though it is heavy enough that getting another person to help is better. Instructions to attach the wheels have some room for improvement. Nevertheless, it wasn't too complicated. The provided funnel for oil came in handy, especially as the location of oil tank could make it difficult to add oil without that specially shaped funnel. Started the generator to test it out and it started with power button the very first time around. While this is an inverter generator that supposedly has lower noise level, I still found it to be noisy enough but I have never had any other generators in the past so can't be a good judge. Overall, I believe this is a good value for the features, specially using inverter technology. True test will be when we have another major power outage as we did with hurricane Milton ... show more

Arrived without any damage, securely mounted on a pallet. Easy to set up out of the box. Compact size for the power output. Started on first attempt and ran well on our house propane line. Did not run any electrical from it during set up but the generator runs great and the engine noise level is surprisingly lower than expected. The electric start feature, fuel options, and folding handle are appreciated. I ran the generator for 5 minutes and the heat level seems minimal with the well insulated housing. ... show more

    • Fantastic Whole House Backup Generator
Style: 11000 Watts Inverter - Dual Fuel
This is a fantastic Inverter Generator. I use it to power my whole home here in FL during outages during hurricanes. I don't have to worry about "Dirty Power" with my sensitive electronics thanks to a <3% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD). Having two fuel options gas and propane provides a big convenience factor by allowing me to use whatever is handy. For instance, if I have no gasoline, I would just hook up to my gas grill propane source since this unit is Dual Fuel. The unit is really quiet for what size it is. The remote controlled start and stop feature saves me pain from pull starting. It’s also parallel capable, so it can be daisy chained with another generator if you need extra power, but 11,000W peak power is a lot and I don't plan on using that feature, but it is certainly nice to have incase my needs change in the future. Of course it isn't as portable as a 2000W generator, but the 11,000W capacity is amazing. Only down size I can think of is the weight at 187lbs, but again, this isn't meant to be a generator you take to the beach or camp grounds although you could. That being said, it is still on the lighter end with weight compared to others of similar output. I highly recommend this item for anyone wanting clean power and enough power to run your entire home.
