Second time purchasing this faux wood sticky backed vinyl paper. My kitchen table was starting to get some kitty scratch marks, though, to be fair it has lasted around 5 or so years with the previous application, and likely would've lasted much longer if my cats didn't love being cats, lol. That being said, it was time for a refresh and I cannot say enough good things about this stuff! Easy to apply, (I do feel like it went on easier this time), and it did a decent job adhering to itself, came out bubble free and was super easy to cut. I decided not to remove the old vinyl and it doesn't adhere as well to the underside of my table, despite being clean and prepped. I basically folded the edges underneath and I do recall having the same issue with the first application years ago, I eventually cut off the part that went under the table but that leaves the edges of the table open to the vinyl eventually peeling (after lots of touching and use). Still, I am so thrilled with the look of this adhered to my (once faux granite) table, and it was much cheaper than buying a new wood top table! I plan to redo my countertops as well so I bought the larger roll. No one seems to know it's not wood, it looks amazing! Now if I could just get my cats to realize they aren't the rulers of the household!! :D

It’s pretty good! It does tear fairly easy and bubble up. HOWEVER, I believe that some might be my error because I think maybe working with a warmer counter top might have helped these issues. With that said the color is definitely what I was looking for and it really does look like wood. The wrinkle resistance and sizes are in my advice below. I will be putting this is my kitchen as well. My advice would be to use two people for reducing wrinkles and bubbles. Cut using the provided grid on the back. Use a hair dryer to help with the bubbles and wrinkles. And like I said before use on a warm surface. If you follow this I believe you will love it as well. Oh the product lost a star for needs to be a little more sticky and would be nice to have a container to save to unused portions for save keeping. Also unrolling this is easy and if you cut the size needed you can let it rest and use weights to the flattening out. (Much easier to apply).

The printed image looks great and there is a woody texture. However, the adhesive is not great. After 24 hours, the paper was already rolling off the corners. I will add that I cleaned and prepped my counter surfaces with denatured alcohol, which usually does the job, but that was not the case with this product. I will need to go back and likely will use spray adhesive to tack this down to my counters. Once that is resolved it will look great as a temporary solution until I get my butcher block counters.

So far so good! Just finishing installing it on our kitchen island. Easy as could be. The grid lines on the back are a nice touch. Works best with 2 people. No air bubbles if you go slow; work from the middle out towards the edge when applying pressure. You are able to reposition if your line isnt correct pretty easily. We ordered the brown wood. Now on to the rest of the countertops!
