timer feature is cool since you don't have to manually turn on each day; lights will get dimmer as the battery wears down, so I would recommend getting rechargeables since they seem to run down 3 batteries in about 3 weeks or so with consistent daily use. I've used them in my studio as a night light so I can see w/o turning on the overhead lights and it usually works really well until it's closer to when the batteries will die. long length is great! Should be able to loop most smaller rooms about once.pretty durable lights also (unlike the wire faerie lights, which break SUPER easily, and christmas lights that one bad bulb can ruin the whole thing). Definitely considering buying more :) ... show more

Added a touch of class to our camping trip, they weren't super practical in terms of illumination but they were just so darn cute and made us feel more cozy. We kept them on through the night in case someone had to pee--you wouldn't have to search for your lantern or flashlight.     • Looks Great on Arrival but Breaks Easily

Packaging was great on arrival, and the light string inside looked sturdy enough, so I was pleased with the quality before use. The lights went up easy enough and worked well enough for about 5 minutes. Unfortunately, the moment I stretched the line a bit to optimize length, the lights blinked out. I ultimately found a broken wire at the end and confirmed the lights would flicker occasionally if I got lucky sticking the wire in a nearby hole. All considered, presentation was great, but reliability was very poor for something rated as OUTDOOR use. I checked the end of another bundle I’d purchased and confirmed the end wires were equally weak after inspection. The manufacturer of these really needs to beef up that part of the unit, because it’s worthless otherwise. ... show more
