I live in the Pacific Northwest where, it rains from the end of October through the beginning of April just about every day. This backpack is awesome, I have never put a drop of tech wax or waterproof for on this backpack and it has never leaked not once in almost 2 years since my first purchase. Once, it does start leaking. I will probably throw some waterproof on it and I would not doubt it if it lasts 8 to 10 years no problem. This is definitely a really goodbye and holds everything that I need for my Billy commute back-and-forth from home to work on my electric bike. I have also put a full-size motorcycle helmet in side of the bag as that is what, I use to travel on my commute. This backpack is a great value for the price. It has a nice, padded internal protective sleeve to separate a laptop or tablet or other small, sensitive device from the main storage area, an enormous full-panel internal-side zipper giving you access to the main storage area, and a smaller top-only zipper on the external side for quick access to the main storage. There's also a high-vis strip down the center of the back. The backpack fits my Sedici Strada 3 full-face helmet (size L) without complaint in the bottom of the pack, leaving a fair amount of room for other stuff (if you don't mind stacking crap on top of your helmet, anyway). The straps are heavily padded and pretty comfortable. I'm not much of a fan of the cross-strap on the chest; it doesn't adjust out far enough to be comfortable on my chest with a full load in the pack. This would not be a good choice for a hiking pack, because the weight distribution is a bit awkward for walking--but that's because the pack is built with a slightly high, flat bottom that parks itself very nicely behind you on a raised pillion seat. Awkward for hiking, but perfect for long, secure rides with heavy loads and no unnecessary shoulder strain. ... show more

I love the backpack it's great for everything but the only downside is that it doesn't have a separation for the compartment of the helmet and my belongings that's the reason I gave it four stars plus the helmet I got I really don't have to put it in the bag because it's a modular flip up helmet but will use it in the future when I need a pack of extra helmet for an extra Rider other than that the zipper quality is great it does well and rain and it does his job and it's very lightweight but I purchase another one yes but just a different style ... show more

The white stripe presented in the photo MUST be edited. My bag’s “white “ stripe is low-light grey. The bag also is softer than it looks in the picture. However, the bag is a bag and does all the things a bag is supposed to and does fit my helmet.
